"Originally, we were scheduled to have our roof inspected on January 10, but due to an ice storm it was not actually inspected until January 24. The owner came out finding that the roof was in pretty good shape. However, some of the roof caps on the various ridge lines needed to be replaced. He also found that the sealant around the pipes coming through the roof had cracked and could be letting in water from either rain or snow. The Technician came out the next day and repaired everything. He also cleaned out the gutters which were long overdue to be cleaned."

He removed all the dry rot including areas we didn't know were rotted, removed a wasps nest we didn't know was there, replaced all the wood, and painted everything to match the existing trim. "Atlantic Services replaced our old roof with GAF Lifetime Architectural Shingles.   The estimate included the removal of the old shingles, several damaged pieces of plywood and an old attic fan.  The roof replacement included the installation of one layer of commercial grade felt paper, ice and water shield, starter shingles, re-flashing all walls, installation of ridge vent on all ridges (including the shed), the replacement of all pipe collars with double collars and painting of all stacks and vents with anti-rust paint.  The work was completed within 2 days.  The owner, Mr. Lego was very helpful.  He thoroughly explained the entire process and answered all of our questions.  He brought over several different shingle colors and was instrumental in final color selection.  Mr. Lego was on the roof working with the crew and had direct oversight of the job.  They were all very professional.  I would not hesitate to use this company again.

"It went very good.  They are very professional.  I was really impressed by how well the job they did.  I had a walk way made out of wood, treated wood, after they were finished with it, looked brand new.  I mean before it looked green and looked like it needed to be replaced.  There were some extra charges, because of the shed, the cost didn't include the shed and the deck.  I think it was an additional $25.  They were late, they had trouble with a machine.  They called me up though so not sure how to rate that.  They called me, well actually to tell you the truth, the first time I called them they never showed up.  That was probably the only thing that got me.  Not sure I'd use them again, maybe, I'd probably price around again.  It was a little expensive, a little bit on the pricey side.  The $225 kind of lures you in and then add more for this and that, so it's not exactly.  They did a good job so, I've had other people before and they didn't do a good job.  They had the right, I think the big expense was they had the right machinery there.  They had this big huge machine on the back of their truck, where most people just come in with a pressure washer and just pressure wash your house.  They put some chemical on, kind of like bleach or something then they just sprayed it right off.  I'd say I probably will use them again.  I'm going to look around a little bit more this time.  Everything kind of evens out.  I think maybe give a more realistic, like with Angie's List, they have that blanket $225 or whatever and it's not $225.  It's kind of deceiving, because it's not really $225.  You have to pay more for other stuff.  I guess it did say the additional structure would cost more.  So I guess it is fair, you are just going to pay more.  They are just expensive that's all."
