4th Generation Family Owned Specialty Glass and Custom Metal Installation Company
"Beware of unfair billing practices. I was quoted a price for a window removal and cleaning job based on approximate dimensions I provided from memory (as I no longer lived at the residence). When the company arrived and found the window was larger than I had estimated, they proceeded with the work without informing me of any price change. I was later emailed an invoice for nearly 3 times the quoted amount ? with no prior approval or notice. This may violate standard fair billing practices and consumer protection laws, which require clear disclosure and consent before altering a quoted price. This lack of transparency and communication is unacceptable. I would not recommend this business to anyone who expects honesty and ethical conduct."

"Our shower was rebuilt and Schmaling was hired to install sliding glass doors. It took a month to get installation. The rollers and track broke a few years later. It took a month to get a repair. The doors bit each other at the time of repair, noted by the installer who said that's how they work. The rollers and track broke again after just a few years. Called and on hold with two different people for 15 minutes, then asked to call me back. Never called. My conclusion shabby work and awful service."

They were very professional and knowledgeable. The job proved to be more difficult than expected due to a previous contractor’s questionable work, but they adjusted and did a beautiful job. I would recommend them."
