Get matched with top chimney cap installers and replacers in Princeton, NJ

"The chimney looks great. The bricks and mortar are a perfect match. The work was done with precision and care. I am completely satisfied. The estimator, the office staff and the crew were so respectful, knowledgeable and easy to work with."

"Sam Thank you. The installation of a well-constructed chimney crown or cap with appropriate overhang and drip edge features prevents water penetration and prolongs the lifespan of the chimney structure."

"AAA Chimney was excellent. Owner inspected chimney, diagnosed problem, and gave me a quote. I agreed and a date for resealing and installation of a chimney cap was set. Workers showed up on schedule and completed the work in approximately three and a half hours. Professionally done--stainless steel resealing, new piping from furnace and hot water heater to meet code, and steel cap."

"Cowan's south jersey masonry came out and fixed the top of both chimneys, sealed them and placed the caps on the top and he cleaned out the chimney. I was working and my parents were there and couldn't say enough about the two gentlemen who completed the work. My mom asked if they could fix a crack on our cement sidewalk and they did with no charge! Thank you so much for your professionalism and help with this project. Thank you for fixing my sidewalk. I would recommend this company without reservation."

"Chris is always prompt, professional, and friendly. He helped us out of a really difficult situation last year with our chimney and this year, at our new house, completed a repoint and cap crown to help us firm up the roof. Would absolutely hire again. A pleasure to work with."

"The crew worked hard all day to take down my old deteriorating chimney and rebuild a new one, making sure to match the new
bricks with the color of my old ones.  I couldn't have asked for a more polite professional crew. They were great to work with.
They also put a new cap on.  Mr Jameson always responded quickly to any phone calls."

"He was excellent. He was very reliable. He was the only person I have ever used to clean my chimney. I did not use him last year because we had a mild winter and only had a few fires. He is very thorough and clean. He was very responsive. He always appeared when he said he would appear. He is a good guy. He is a local guy and had good reviews and that is why I used him."

"They will come back to replace the flute , very helpful joe and Brian."

I called for an estimate and made an appointment for 9:00 am on Saturday, Nov. 15.  John showed up about 8:15 with his 2 young workers who checked the chimney in the basement and then went on the roof.  The chimney had some missing bricks but other than that, needed nothing... the liner was in fine condition.  John told me they could do the job immediately for $785.  I said, how about $750 and he said ok.  They were there for about 40 minutes, re-cemented the missing bricks and put stucco all the way around the chimney.

I made a check out to John Christman Chimney Repair but was told I had to make it out to him directly so I had to rip up the check and make out a new one.

I really had only wanted an estimate since I had no idea if that was a fair price but felt I was caught off-guard and agreed to have him do the job.  After he left I decided that the price seemed very high for the amount of work that was done.  I tried to stop payment on the check but it was cashed IMMEDIATELY.  The next day I called a few other chimney repair places and they told me that the price seemed high for the amount of work that was done.

I suppose the lesson learned here is ALWAYS get at least 2-3 estimates before committing to having the work done.

"Very professional and friendly.  I would rely on this company.
They gave me a window of 3 hours to arrive at the property, however I was the 1st appointment of the day so not sure why you can't confirm a time?  They also did not call me on their way to the job as discussed
I thought the price was reasonable for the service, however I can't confirm quality.  All I know is the job took a lot less than other chimney cleaning services I have had in the past.
