"The individual that did the consult was very knowledgeable and helpful. The work took 8 days. I would highly recommend just buying new cabinets. The mess after the sanding and install was more than I expected. Some of the cabinets were left with debris and a considerable amount of dust in them, the shelves were not sanded on the ends where they were cut, leaving splinters and the sawdust was in the stove, dishwasher, cabinets that were covered and in the adjoining room. The craftsmanship turned out nice but noticeable that the edges were resurfaced. Itâ s hard to resurface cabinets that are old. The new doors cover the refacing. I feel the pricing is way to high for this type of project."

"Steve is a fantastic craftsman of fine built in cabinets. We worked with Steve to design and construct 4 spaces in the home - a new mudroom, a new basement kitchen in a newly built entertainment space, a new basement mudroom and bathroom. We chose a different look in each space - stained walnut, lacquered wood with gold inlay, and painted wood - he did a phenomenal job throughout the home. Steve is patient and kind, and a good listener to understand what the client wants. He worked relentlessly to make sure the color matched my expectations on wood he stained. His hardware and hardware installation is impressive - all of my cabinets are functioning beautifully 2 years later with zero misalignment occurring. He is creative - added a hidden cubby in my mudroom wall paneling! I am so thrilled with his craftsmanship and hope to use him again if i can get around to redoing the last 4 rooms wit plumbing they haven’t been done since the house was built."

"I have now had 4 pickups from this company. Each time it has been with different items: I have had my kitchen remodeled,  a deck torn down and rebuilt, a new roof put on, old fencing disc arded, and a yard cleanup. The only difference in pricing was for the roofing and even though ti was more money it was STILL CHEAPER than a dumpster!!! I don't know how these guys do it, but they pickup on time, without issue andfor the cost quoted. I have turned each of my contractors onto them - now they are using them. SO MUCH cheaper and better service than any dumpster company I have used!"

"Matt always arrived on time.  On his first visit, he carefully measured the counter tops, providing me with a clear explanation of what the job would entail. In addition, he regularly kept in touch with me about the progress of the job.    At the agreed upon date and time, Matt arrived to install the counter tops, followed by a thorough cleaning of the work area.    His work was thorough and professional in every way. "Charlie is very professional.  His prices may be a bit high, but I am a firm believer you get what you pay for.  The quality of this workers and subs was wonderful.  He even has a division that made a custom vanity for the master bath that matched a cabinet we had in there for towels and linens.  He has a good attention to detail.  He was patient working with our condo association that had problems with the new windows he installed and made sure that both groups were happy in the end with the work he did.  We love the work he did on the two rooms and would hire him again.

"Scheduling went well initially, but we got a call the morning of the scheduled work saying the handyman had a family emergency and could not come. I called back a week later to see about rescheduling (they said "we were just about to call you!") - and another handyman came out 12 days after the initially scheduled appointment. In each of the three phone contacts with the company I made it clear that I needed help installing strapping over concrete in order to put up drywall in a closet in the basement and that the handyman would need to bring a hammer-drill in order to do the job. In the last contact prior to the appointment I told the rep that I would also likely be needing help installing a steel rack on the ceiling of the garage. I also made it clear that I had an appointment in the afternoon and we'd need to start at 8:00am sharp. The handyman arrived a little more than a half-hour late, without a hammer drill and with no ladder (just a light-weight step-stool). The messages about needing to bring a hammer-drill and doing work on the garage ceiling were evidently never passed along to him. Thankfully I had ladders and I had also purchased a hammer-drill, just in case.... So we were able to complete that part of the job, with him cutting the strapping with a chop saw and applying liquid nail and me doing most of the drilling and anchoring. The handyman was friendly and helpful, but didn't seem all that skilled. He worked steadily, especially sanding the drywall. The best thing about signing up for this big deal is that it helped me get motivated to tackle of couple of projects that had been hanging over my head. So for that, despite some of the glitches, I am grateful.
