"The tech was lovely and helpful. He was great to work with. Like he said, he was in and out in 10 minutes for $150. He got the door to open and close which was helpful in a pinch. The next morning I found five (5) screws laying in the garage door opening/driveway area that would have cost me a lot of money if one had found its way into my tires. So be careful to check behind him to ensure there are no screws or nails left behind. I did end up hiring a 2nd company to come in and spend more time on the cosmetics and inner workings of the door, straightening it, and bending the door back to close the gap between the first and 2nd layer of panels. The second guy redid the first company's work to make the door closing and opening quieter and not clanging, also did a full service on door, reset the sensors, Oiled everything, made sure the garage door didn't fall down quickly when released from the spring, and charged me $110 which was $40 less for 2.5 hours of work, then My Home Garage charged me for a 10 min. fix. I was glad to get my garage door to close and get my car in the garage that first night and the My Home Garage did that in 10 min., but after experiencing the attention to detail and the over the top service that I got from the 2nd company, I would call the 2nd company if I had a problem before I would call My Home Garage."

"I recommend Precision Garage Door of Southwest Florida When one of the springs to my garage door broke I did a search on Angie’s List where Precision Garage Door has received very good reviews. My call to them was answered in a professional manner and the representative was very polite and helpful. I was given a 4 hour window for the technician to arrive. Luckily the technician was finishing up another job nearby and was able to arrive in a very timely manner. Alex, the service technician, was very polite, knowledgeable and professional. He was more than will to answer any questions I may have had. He explained various repair options that I had and gave me an estimate of the work to be done. I decided to go ahead and have their higher end springs installed. The cost was more than one might pay for stock springs but they come with a 7 year warranty. Alex also pointed out that my rollers showed some wear and may need replacing in the future and to just keep an eye on them for now. Alex performed the work in a very timely manner. He took the time to show me how to properly lubricate the door’s parts and suggested this be done every 3 months or so. He also left behind a can of Lithium Grease for me to use for the maintenance. I was very satisfied with the level of service I received. I did have some lingering questions that I wished to discuss further so I contacted the Jason who is the manager. Jason was very helpful in resolving some questions I had. Overall I had a very positive experience with Precision Garage Door."
