"We needed spray foam insulation to seal our basement stone walls behind stud walls in a remodeling project at my church in Philadelphia. Aaron was very responsive and provided a quote quickly and at a good price! He was able to schedule the crew to be onsite very quickly after we agreed to the job, they showed up on time on the scheduled day and did a great job of insulating the 3 walls where we needed the insulation. They were efficient in their work, careful to be sure that any overspray stayed contained and cleaned up behind themselves. They did a great job! I'd highly recommend them!"

"I did recieve 2 companies estimates for the insulation project. There were 3 responses but my timeline was short. Originally was thinking spray foam but wanted comparison to traditional fiberglass and blown in as well to make an educated product benefits and cost choice. I selected traditional insulation over spray to accomplish a 38%R factor of insulation for the house, that had no insulation in attic or crawl space, which turned out to be correct choice within my price range. Koala was fast response professional and performed a complete envelope of insulation to the house in 6 hours neat work, cleaned up, and very personable staff! I have noticed a huge difference with outside sound transmission, uniform heat within the house, reduced heat pump run time and needed to lower required temperature by 2 degrees to maintain comfortable living area temperature and humidity levels. I am very pleased with Koala Insulation of Doylestown for explaining the best solution to accomplish the need and the high standard quality products used and knowledgeable dependable staff to get the project done. Thank you."

"I can't say one thing bad about this business: very professional, reasonable price, and they cleaned up that you would not know they were ever here. I will certainly recommend to anyone adding insulation to their house and like us insulating the garage. Excellent job to Hassan and his team."

"When we purchased our home we found many beetles & spiders in the basement storage spaces. Before we moved in we cleaned those spaces thoroughly and decided to have the house professionally treated for bugs. The guys from Newtown Pest came right over, sprayed the entire home and said that if we notice anything in the next few weeks they would come back free of charge.
Happily we didn't see any more bugs or spiders, and have maintained a regular quarterly maintenance schedule with them. They are very flexible in terms of scheduling and provide a reasonable window......
A local business with fair prices and friendly service.  We've recommended them to multiple people and look forward to a continued business relationship with Newtown Termite & Pest Control.

FAQs for spray foam insulation projects in Quakertown, PA

Old insulation should be removed when it shows damage, contamination, or heavy deterioration. If you notice water stains, rodent droppings, mold, or large gaps, plan on taking it out to protect your home’s energy performance and indoor air quality. Removing compromised material eliminates health hazards, cuts energy loss, and sets the stage for a safer, more efficient attic—all while keeping utility bills in check.

R-value measures how well insulation resists heat flow—the higher the number, the better it slows heat transfer. The right R-value keeps your home warmer in winter and cooler in summer, saving energy year-round. Match the rating to your climate zone and have a pro verify performance over time, because moisture or settling can lower R-value and cut efficiency.

Attic insulation can stay in place for 80 to 100 years, but its performance often drops after the first 15. As dust, moisture, or mold build up, the material loses R-value and allows heat to escape. Schedule periodic inspections so a pro can tell you when replacement makes sense—helping you keep energy bills down and indoor comfort up.

You can over-insulate an attic. Beyond the recommended R-value, extra layers don’t add efficiency and can trap moisture, leading to mold or reduced performance. A local insulation pro can measure current levels, confirm the right target for your climate, and advise on any adjustments so you avoid future energy or maintenance headaches.

Insulation can be damaged by mold, pests, water leaks, or accidental electrical contact. When the material is compromised, it loses R-value and can introduce health hazards. Removing and replacing affected sections restores efficiency, while routine inspections from a qualified pro help you catch problems early and keep your attic safe and energy-smart.
