"Rich, company owner, responded quickly to my request for an estimate and scheduled the evaluation for a few days later. His estimate was fair and more affordable than 2 other estimates I had previously gotten from other floor refinishing companies. We scheduled a date for the job to be done 2 weeks later. Rich was a good communicator & answered my questions I had leading up to the job, via emails/texts. Alex (contractor) actually did the floor refinishing, alone & he did a fabulous job refinishing our dining room, living room & 2 closets. The floors are old, white oak and now have new life breathed into them! A hole in one of the closet floors needed to be patched and he did that job very well too. Alex worked 8 hour days and left the house tidy & with as little dust as possible. We would definitely recommend RM Krol Flooring to friends and family who are looking to have their wood floors refinished."

"Service never took place. Job entailed ceramic tile back splash, shelf, and window sill in kitchen. Company rep came out and measured, asked us to visit sales showroom to select tile. We did so. Travel time was 50 minutes each way. When we arrived at the showroom we learned that the company specialized in flooring and counter tops, and had a very limited ceramic tile selection. The reps at the showroom suggested that we select a tile from another dealer, and said that they would give us a price for installation only. We then visited another showroom and picked a tile from a large selection. We then received a call from the original rep, the one who had come to the house, stating that the company could not do the job and to request a refund from you. I asked the rep to notify you that we would be asking for a refund, which he agreed to do and later confirmed that he did."

"We hired Sam's Hardwood Floors to refinish the hardwood floors and install quarter-round molding in our living room, dining room and entryway/main hallway. The wood flooring in these areas had been hidden under some retro shag carpeting when we bought our home, and they appeared worn, dull and out-dated. "When we bought our house in 2015 we had another hardwood contractor refinish our floors in our 85 year old house. That contractor did a very poor job. I was hesitant at hiring another contractor, but given the rating Chris had achieved on Angie’s List I decided to give him a chance. Chris quickly responded to my request and visited our house. His knowledge and honesty impressed me and his pricing was good. Chris was very professional and displayed with great work ethic, arriving every day as planned, keeping dust and debris under control and cleaned up each day. He did an outstanding job installing new solid oak (not from China) flooring in our living room, dining room, three bedrooms, and office and hallways, fixing all the squeaks along the way. He also installed vinyl tile flooring in our kitchen, which included new subflooring. Chris removed our existing old flooring/subfloor and had it removed. "Sciortino and sons did a fantastic job. Job proceeded exactly on time, as promised. Owner was always in contact as needed. Finished floor looks amazing. Repairs on cracks were done. Furniture was moved (part of contract) in a careful way. Crew even used vacuum and wiped around baseboards before furniture was replaced. I recommend this company strongly and would gladly use it again!"
