"WROUGHT IRON REPAIRS I just had a two section portion of our fence repaired. Initially we thought it would need to be replaced as it was bowed and several of the welds had broken loose at the base of the vertical bars, and not to mention it's 31 years old. We fortunately found SO CAL STEEL WORK on YELP. The owner, Dylan Barnett, came within one day and easily repaired by cutting about an inch out of the top horizontal bar and rewelding the vertical bars at the base. He also repainted the affected areas. He has all his equipment mounted in the bed of his truck. This company is an asset to our neighborhoods. You MUST ask for Chris JUNIOR because he responds right away, answered ALL of our questions and concerns and the work was finished in a timely manner. Chris JUNIOR always took my calls or called back right away if he was busy with a customer. Chris Jr. and John are just the best! Also, Kim in accounting was very helpful with the paperwork. Juan and his crew were very professional, showed up early. (But waited outside until my hubby said we were already awake, and they weren't disturbing us too early!! SO THOUGHTFUL!!) "If I could give Dave a 10, I would. He repaired four wrought iron gates that had not closed or aligned properly for 10 years. He had to cut iron parts, re-weld, and realign. All four gates swing beautifully and align perfectly. Also, Dave repaired fencing that had broken from its cement foundation and brick walls in a wind storm. He creatively solves the problem at hand. The fencing was solidly cemented, and reinforced. Several places in the fencing had rotted or broken. Dave cut out the rotted iron, cut new wrought iron and welded it into the bar. When done I would never have known it was repaired. Finally, Dave primed all of the repaired surfaces. He completed the three day job as promised on time. Thank you, Dave.
