"We found FloorWork by word of mouth.  There was a lag time associated with completion of the order because the granite had to be ordered (this is very normal especially because we do not live in or near a large metropolis).  FloorWorks subcontracted out the granite work (again not uncommon) and we were very happy with their subcontractor.  The lead installer also fabricated and cut all the granite openings.  He wasn't happy with the way one edge was lining up, took it back to his shop, re-fabricated part of it, and finally installed it.  A perfectionist!  From first contact until we were done was approximately 6 weeks, but all of that was on us-- we wanted to wait to order floor tile so we could color coordinate it with the granite.  We could not be happier with the service!  By far, they were better than any other service industry we've worked with.  Our only "complaint" isn't so much with FloorWorks but with what seems to be a regional issue with contractors who do floors, windows, etc…, and that is their showrooms are only open Monday thru Friday from 8AM to 5PM.  If you work (like we both do) you have to take time out of your work day to coordinate anything.  But FloorWorks were extremely accommodating, often coming out at the end of the day (and even after they'd normally be closed) to measure floors and cabinets and assist us in our home.  We will absolutely be using them in the future!"
