"We live in a prewar coop building in Manhattan and were in need of a kitchen, living and dining room/den renovation. Because of the limitations in our building, we were not optimistic that many changes could be made that would dramatically alter the feel/function of the space. Inson Wood proved us completely wrong. With his architectural eye and his impeccable design aesthetic we (and everyone who has been here before and after) experiences our apartment as an entirely different living space. Even family members are shocked at the transformation. I think that what Inson accomplished was the product of a few significant factors. First, Inson asks you what you want and seriously considers how you live. If Inson thinks that different approaches should be considered for what you want, he provides renderings of each option so that you can easily visualize and imagine them. Ultimately, Inson respects your preferences and works with them, elevating them to a level far above what you had imagined. Inson uses the highest quality vendors (whom we NEVER would have found) and expertly guides you through choices (note: follow his recommendations!!!)- our walls would never have had dimension and our kitchen backsplash never have been so unique (two examples) if not for the artisans that Inson uses. Inson is also willing to have you be as much or as little involved in the process as you want to be. I did go with Inson to choose many pieces of furniture but realized after a certain point that his taste point made me confident in him choosing much finishing work (ex: window treatments, decorative cushions, which I love) without me. As with all design work, there are always glitches and Inson was extremely responsive and responsible for taking care of those as they came up. We are nothing less than thrilled to come home each evening and enjoy our space, which feels like a luxurious retreat perfectly tailored to us."

"We had a crack in our home's foundation, which was causing a leak
into our basement. The owner came to give as estimate, and was extremely
knowledgeable. He took one look at the wall in the basement and knew exactly
where the crack was behind the sheetrock. (On day of repair, when sheetrock was removed, it was proven he had been spot on.)
On the day the work was to begin, the workers showed up exactly on time, which
was appreciated. They explained to us what they would be doing, and kept us
posted throughout the morning.
When the job was completed, they did an excellent job of cleaning up.
I had a follow up question a few days after, and the owner was extremely
responsive and prompt in his response.
A month or so after the repair, and our basement is still water free. We have had several heavy rain storms since, so I am confident the problem is totally fixed.
