"Joe and Chris exceeded all of our expectations with the job. The job consisted of having to remove the left side door frame and molding from our bathroom door which they took great care in doing thus minimizing any destruction of the plaster walls. They expertly installed the new frame and rehung the door perfectly. They also repaired out front exterior door which was out of plumb and not closing properly. And also replaced our exterior basement door. They also replaced a damaged tongue and groove knotty pine board in our stairwell leading to our upstairs bedroom. Joe and Chris explained everything they had to do to complete the jobs and Joes estimate was reasonable in price. They are both gentlemen with a professional attitude, friendly and easy to talk to about the work and a variety of other topics not related to the job at hand. I highly recommend them."

"I would give him 10 stars if I could. Found R. Rose on Home Advisor, so had no contact with Rene previously. Wow! I can���t rave about him enough. Highly professional, knows his stuff. My husband is an artist & professional carpenter who knows building & I���m a graphic designer. Before we hired him we went to check out 2 of his projects. They looked great & at one of them he was with one of his workers. I was impressed both with the work & the vibe on the job. We hired him to repair our roof in Saugerties. He listened to our ideas and he advised us of all our options re: insulation, gutters, etc. He repaired the structure after discovering problems during the removal of the old roof. Also advised us after discovering problems from poorly done jobs by others (vents through roof were not properly placed & chimney wan���t really lined even though we had hired someone to reline it a few years ago). He is neat, always cleans up after himself, his crew is great & he is a very nice guy. Even offered to help my husband when he got sick. And came to put on our chimney cap the morning of Storm Juno. He shows up when he says he will, or calls if he���s delayed. Accommodated us in our schedule. Wish I hired him for our NYC apt, which we just renovated. Also, the guy is an artist. The copper flashing is perfect, he takes great pride in his work. Everything he did was beautiful, the chimney repair, ��� I will definitely use him again. Problem is that all my neighbors want to use him, now, too."
