"We recently had central air installed and needed to get rid of the former through the wall air conditioning units. When we first contacted Tom, he said he was booked through October, but he would come out and give us a quote. We made the appointment for the quote and he came as promised, looked at the work to be done and said he'd be able to do everything from AC removal to patching and final paint. He worked up a quote and e-mailed it to us within 24 hours. As we were not expecting the work to be done until mid-October, it was a pleasant surprise to hear from him in late September asking if it was a good time to start the job. He was very prompt and showed up when he said he would. He was also very meticulous about his work, cleaning up the work areas each day and hauled away the old AC units for us. The work was completed over the course of a week as he applied several layers of spackle which needed to dry fully before further application or paint. The walls look fantastic and you would't know that we used to have AC units as his work was seamless. We also had a small drywall repair job that we added when Tom arrived and he took care of it for us without additional charge. We plan to hire him again for future projects in our house and will recommend him to others."

"The price was fair for the job done which is important however the overall job was mediocre at best. My kitchen is challenging with an 18' cathedral ceiling. I anticipated the highest parts of where the wall meets the ceiling the paint lines might not be perfectly straight. Even managing my expectations... not a single paint line is straight, they are all wavy, at the baseboard, around the door, where the ceiling height is only 8' - not a straight paint line to be found in my kitchen. Jose was very nice, cleaned up when the job was done and seemed to work hard. For those reasons I would have liked to give a better rating but when I look at the details, the job is just barely adequate."

"I called early am and owner called me back within 30 minutes. Within one hour I had one of his employees Daryell showed up very professional and began to assess what caused the humming. During the process he was able to find a safety wiring issue that he and owner recommended I take care off . They were very thorough and were able to repair my problem s. Very knowledgeable , professional and patient by explaining what is being done. I highly recommend them ."

"As usual, Alan showed up as scheduled and did a thorough walk-around to detail the work that needed to be done. Candi had the contract done the next morning and the carpenters showed up two days later as promised. Bucky and Max worked a full day and did a great job. They not only fixed the superficial rotted wood, but went down to the support structure and made repairs. They used good quality materials and were very happy to explain to me how they were making the repairs. The porches are on a Victorian Style house and they were able to make the repairs while maintaining the decorative style. Bucky's skill and workmanship really came through on the work done on the front porch. Max really did a great job replacing the shakes and fascia boards on the back porch. He also did a nice job replacing the outside door to the basement. This was a professional and quality job through and through."

"I cannot say enough good things about the Paint life team. We have used them 3x for jobs over the past 4 years. We live in a 1940's barn and they painted the exterior of our house which has complex arches and hard to reach spots. When they went to paint they found some wood rot in some areas which was fixed, replaced, and then painted. We also had a woodpecker create a nest in a very high spot on the house that we couldn't reach or repair ourselves. Mostly recently, we had the Paint life team paint our family room and upstairs hallway in January. I am pregnant and we didn't want to be in the house while they painted; even though it was safe since they use low fume paint. I felt completely comfortable leaving the key under the mat and with them being in the house alone for the 3 days they needed to finish the job. I also found communication with Rich & Donald super easy since we did it all over text/ phone. It was also amazing to get progress photos along the way. When I need another paint job or handy work completed, I would not hesitate in getting touch with them. At this point, I wouldn't even call for a quote from another company since I know the prices are fair, but more importantly, they are people I can trust."
