"TL:DR The American-made equipment works very well. The company ultimately assured the installation was complete and correct. But it was a rocky road. It was easy to schedule an appointment with a sales person. He spent a lot of time trying to sell me a system, when in fact I'd already done my research and knew I wanted to buy their products if they could improve my water quality. The salesman was able to give me measurements of dissolved solids and pH, which was important to me. Installation was fast; within about a week, our system was in place! Unfortunately, the installation did not pass inspection. When I contacted EcoWater Texas about the problem, the owner said the inspector was being unreasonable, and this had never happened before. He said he was uncomfortable having his plumber do the work the inspector required, and I would have to find someone else to do it. He said he'd pay the cost if it was reasonable. I contacted the inspector to get a detailed explanation of the work to be done. The inspector came over and gave me a red tag, formally failing the installation. He said I should call EcoWater Texas and tell them I had the tag, and if I submitted the tag to the licensing board they'd make it right. When I did that, EcoWater Texas agreed to find a plumber to do the work and cover the costs. The new plumber finished the installation, and it passed inspection. I then asked EcoWater Texas to test my water to make sure the system was working as advertised. This took a little time, but the salesman returned and did the testing. That's when I learned the system was only treating half my water! The rest entered the house in a different place. Apparently EcoWater Texas didn't check for that when they did the original installation. So EcoWater Texas had the second plumber come back and tie in the rest of the house water. The entire process took several months."

"They did a great job! It went faster than I expected. I asked one of the guys if he had time, would he check a leak under my kitchen sink. He was very thorough. It turns out that we had a bolt still attached underneath the sink from a previous water filter installation. We needed a different type of bolt and he switched the bolts for free! He even gave me some much needed advice to help prevent further leaks from the faucet area. I really appreciated the extra mile! "He confirmed there was a small leak but could not locate it exactly to be certain where to do the repair, because we were having roofing and remodeling done that echoed in the slab, so it was too noisy to hear properly with his listening equipment. The leak was small and not inside the house so we agreed to call him back at no extra detection cost when the other work was finished and he could hear. But in the meantime the tile company found the leak when they tore out the old tile and could see and hear it, so their plumber fixed it the cheap way by going through the slab since the floor was already out. I will be glad to call Mr. Morgan again if we have any more leaks. He is always prompt and capable and does no damage to our home."

"Responsiveness was good. The work was good. I gave four stars instead of five stars for the following reason. After the replacing the pipe to my house, the water was turned on for us while we waited for the city inspection. Which was nice. However, as I was leaving for work the next morning, a water geyser was shooting up from the work area. I grabbed a wrench, used a screw driver to remove the water meter cover, and searched for the shut-off valve with water up to my elbows and shoes and pants getting soaked. I got the valve shut off. The water kept coming. That didn't make sense to me until the geyser stopped all of a sudden. It was coming from the neighbors sprinkler head, which was missing, which was right in the tug-out trench. I asked the plumber later if they had knocked the sprinkler head off as they were digging the trench and he said no, that it was already missing a head as they had came across it. Well that would have been nice to know. I could have told the neighbor not to run their sprinkler. I could have gone to work with dry shoes. I will give Plumber Near Me Kudo's - they did put their own sprinkler head on the neighbors pipe, which was nice."
