"The workers did an excellent job on taking off the old rotted fascia and replacing with new Hardiplank fascia. They replaced water damaged Hardiplank with new Hardiplank. They also replaced a soffit corner box that needed to be replaced. They replaced damaged gutters as needed and put up the old gutters that could be used again. I would recommend them for your gutter, fascia and soffit needs. I was very pleased with the results."

"If damage occurs to inside the house during installation of siding they will not cover any repairs. A hole is in our bathroom wall now and they will not fix it."

"The process was very Professional. Greg came out and evaluated my old shingles roof and gave me a price to install a new metal roof. He was very informative concerning my change over from a shingles roof to a metal roof. Greg explained the step by step installation process and the warranty that was included. "Overall, Bear Mountain did a good job re-painting my home. And you will probably find that they are cheaper than some painters if you get a lot of quotes. I would say you’ll be satisfied with the paint job, but don’t use them for any repairs, and be aware that they will do the minimum necessary to complete the job. You are getting what you pay for. A basic paint job. I do not like what they consider “touch up” and how they bill. It seems like touch up could be anything from a small missed spot, to an entire corner missed, to something in the contract not completed. In other words, I think they use “touch up” a little too loosely. Their invoices will state that payment is due upon “substantial” completion. So, as you could imagine, they will want payment and could consider many things touch up, when I would consider it, job incomplete. What happened with me is after a quick glance I thought they were 100% done, and didn’t even see touch up items, and I paid them. But, later on I noticed areas where the paint was thinly sprayed on, a corner board not painted, nail holes not filled in, and an attic vent I stressed should be painted with extra care because it’s really old wood, which was not. And with that vent screen which should be replaced which was not. I even reminded the lead guy while he was here. I played phone tag with them to try and get them back for touch up. I’ve been very busy at my job and would miss their call. I would call back and they would say that the person who called already left or was not available. Then I honestly was afraid even if they came back they wouldn’t do this attic vent right, so I just took care of it. I was afraid because they aren’t craftsmen or carpenters first. They are painters - even though they advertise they do all the repair stuff too. I would recommend you hire a quality carpenter if you need any repairs done. They replaced some flashing for me, attempted to screw part of it down through cement (unique situation - long story). You can tell they had trouble with this part and just left screw holes in a few spots where they couldn’t get the screws to grip into the cement. I also needed a fascia board replaced. They forgot at first, but did come back and did that on the last day. I know they forgot because why would you replace a board after painting the area? And, it was done in a rough manner in my opinion. It just seems like the carpentry side of their crew members may not be their strong suit. And because that’s the vibe I got - I didn’t want them to come back and attempt to re-do anything honestly. That parts on me I guess. In short, since they may not hurt your wallet as much as certain companies, I’d say, use them for your exterior paint job, but maybe before they come out, have someone else you really trust do any wood rot repairs, or other carpentry work. It also depends on how picky you are. Perhaps the level of quality I’m looking for just doesn’t exist anymore. Or, doesn’t exist in my price range."

"After a storm damaged our roof, Pro Roofing helped us to fight our insurance company for over a year. Other companies weren't willing to get involved, but Pro Roofing has people who specialize in this sort of thing. They knew how to deal with the insurance company to get them to approve funds towards the repair and then to fight their original estimate to get us more. If you have roof work that involves dealing with an insurance company, these are the folks to use. The new roof they installed looks great. It makes the house look significantly better and well maintained. Could not recommend more."

"Sent in pictures via text, got a Buick easy to understand quote. Send the same handyman two days to fix rotten wood and paint. Can't even tell anything was wrong in the first place the repair was so good."

"They were on time for the estimate and on time for the work that was performed. They removed my old shingles, tar paper, and vents and replaced them with new underlayment and GAF Timberline Shingles with new vents. The workers were efficient, knew what they were doing, worked extremely hard and long and did a great job. The project manager was on site much of the time and ready to answer any questions or respond to concerns. The new roof replaces one installed 19 years ago and the quality of the new roof greatly exceeds that of the previous roof. They cleaned up after they finished and did not destroy any flowers, shrubs, or plants. I would not hesitate to use them again."

"About a year and a half ago I hired a company to paint an entire two bedroom townhome.  Same thing - ceilings, walls, trim, patch, caulk.  The company kept trying to raise the estimate and in the end didn't finish the job.  There was paint spatter everywhere, the walls hadn't been prepared prior to painting to they finish was rough, and some rooms didn't get painted at all because I refused to continue paying more money.



My experience with Kimberly Painting was the complete opposite.  The estimate was given and the prices didn't change.  The painting crew came in as scheduled and painted efficiently and well.  Walls were perfectly patched and sanded.  And the best part of all was the clean up - there were some paint droplets that were missed but not many, and there was no drywall dust to be found.  I was cautious due to my previous experience with hiring painters, and I'm so glad that my worst fears weren't realized.  Imagine - a painting company that actually does what they say they will do!  Also, they accommodated the few (minor) corrections I requested with no fuss at all.







--- I am amending my review due to some quality issues that weren't initially apparent to me.



1. paint splatters on the top of my refrigerator - this definitely came from the new paint color



2. bathroom fixtures were not removed before painting so they were painted on.  this became a problem, for example, and the paint started to bubble and peel around my toilet paper roll, as it got stretched and pulled with use.  this happened for the towel rods, lights, and toilet paper rolls in two bathrooms.



3. electrical panel cover was painted on.  when the cover had to be removed for electrical work, paint around it peeled off



4. kitchen paint needed an extra coat.  You could see the difference between where the edges of the wall were painted and the actual wall (I'm guessing the edges were done with a brush and got an extra coat).







I spent the weekend replacing the bath hardware and touching up paint in the kitchen, bathroom, and around the electric panel."
