C.S. Remodeling Inc is new to Angi, we are looking to provide a variety of Skilled Home improvement services. We have been in business since 2001, all of our work has been through personal referral and is 100% residential. I often refer to us as old house carpenters. I've worked on homes from the 1900's to homes built in 2017. Being familiar with the different types of construction techniques lessens the surprise factor and makes modernization or repairs easier. "Got an estimate beginning of may. 8 weeks later after putting half down his crew showed up late. First Shay decided I needed more work. An extra $3k was approximated and I asked for estimate emailed. Estimate was $9k more. I rejected the change 4 separate communications and monday morning his crew showed up late tearing up the roof for additional work. I called Shay and stated I rejected change and he told me I must pay extra to restore the roof or he pulls the crew with roof open. Finally rew gets tge roof done after a progress payment was made using my debit leaving $2k left. I went to buy a cashier check for PAID IN FULL final payment and found 1st Choice had gone ahead without my authorization. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! I cannot stress this enough! I have never had a contractor curse me out!!!"

So, Gold Standard had to step in and finish the job the other company said was impossible to do without using a crane . The other company sent a new worker that didn’t really know what he was doing and they fired him before the job was finished after already taking three day to do what little they did do and Gold Standard came out and took half a day to finish what the first company claimed wasn’t possible to do without expensive equipment. "
