"Our home still had the original 1962 kitchen and we wanted to completely renovate it. We worked with Vic from Johnson and Sons, and expanded the the kitchen from 80 sqft to over 200, moved all the appliances ~15-20 feet, ran new electric/water/gas, rebuilt the floor, knocked down a wall, rewired a lot of the old wiring, and got all new cabinets + countertops. This was our first major remodel and since we weren't doing this to flip the house, we wanted to really do it right. Vic was helpful, courteous, and energetic and really helped us figure out the right approach. I was impressed at how reliable they were, with them only showing up late once or twice over the 2.5 months they were working on the house. Vic and his guys were also good communicators and we never felt we were in the dark. Like all older houses, ours had its fair share of craziness that we only found out once we opened up the walls and ceiling. Vic and the rest of the people at Johnson and Sons were always helpful and solution-oriented, which helped keep things moving along. They're pre-work price estimate + timeframe were pretty spot on too. The final price was about 3% higher, which is not bad at all! The timeframe was pretty accurate too, and hard to blame them for the week and a half delay caused by Seattle's Snow-pocalypse of 2019. We look forward to working with Vic and Johnson and Sons again in the future. They will definitely be our go-to-guys when we need work done!"

"Overall we are extremely pleased with Classic Remodeling. As with every job of this size, there were a few hiccups along the way and a little bit of a quality issue, HOWEVER, our project manager was *extremely* responsive and remedied everything to our satisfaction. The office staff is very friendly and checked in weekly to see how the project was going. Russell, our project manager, was amazing and responded to questions and text messages within minutes, even on the weekends. During a time of a remodeling boom, where all trades are extremely busy, they did a good job of keeping our project on track and moving forward. First of all, the owner is great to work with. He showed up everyday to make sure everything went according to plan. He was very meticulous and brought out a structural engineer several times to make sure that things were done safely and we wouldn’t have any problems down the road. He always had great ideas and what I appreciated was that he wasn’t always trying to upsell you and had cost in mind because re-modeling projects always have unexpected surprises. Gashin took our outdated downstairs and completely changed the look of our home into a stunning modern home. They took out all the tile flooring and installed new hardwood floors, took down several walls to make an open concept space for our kitchen and dining room, refaced the fireplace, installed a new island and countertops for the kitchen, and all the small things involved in a renovation like ours. To add, they did all this in about 6 weeks. I appreciate how our project was not in conjunction with others which helped to make the whole process super timely. Yes, there was dust but they covered everything up and made sure that the zone was clean every night. After getting to know the owner and his crew I had zero reservations about giving them full access to my home."

"Overall the project went very well. We interviewed 5 different contractors and picked Vic because we liked his price, we liked the fact that he was going to do most of the work himself, and we felt that we could work with him. The project was supposed to be done in about a month, and ended up taking close to 2 months. Part of the delay was materials and the plumber, and a few days were lost because of surgery and a previously scheduled vacation, but ultimately we did get the bathroom and tub room we had hoped for. Although we were originally considering luxury vinyl, Vic did steer us toward tile. He did an excellent job of installing the tile on the floor and around the new tub, and it all looks beautiful. He also did several small things at the end of the project (such as replacing towel bars in another bathroom, installing a curtain rods and a shade, and replacing an electrical outlet) at no cost."
