"Over all good timely work just thought when they came to inspect the job they would remove some old (already bagged) insulation for free, then never received a quote and after they finished the job I was billed $125 to remove the insulation if I had gotten a quote I would have gotten rid of it myself."

"My siding is unique. It is masonite, tempered hardboard. I have never seen it before and neither has anyone else younger. It was installed in 1956 when I was born. Was great for 60 yrs. Now the original coating is gone so it ought to go. It is brittle and hard. the holes and plugs are ugly. Not their fault. There is some off-gassing in open areas where it came into unsealed areas. Now I must tell you about the job...it was difficult adding insulation to the underside of floor boards in our crawl space. Other insulators said it couldn't be done. Kelly took her flashlight, measuring tape and looked really hard and said "We can do this!" What a "can do attitude" and they accomplished it. I will definitely use them again and so should you!"

"They were one of the quickest to respond to a quote request as the room I needed help with was consistently 15 degrees colder than the rest of the house. Sean identified the problem swiftly and between quote and completion, they were done in 1 week. There was a little confusion between Sean and his crew installing the foam into our walls. Minor in that they were on site within about an hour of when they said they would be there because of a broken part for the foam sprayer that wasn't communicated. Crew was nice, cleaned up well afterwards and even when they broke a trim piece by accident, they quickly found a replacement. Nearly two months later, our electric bill has averaged $50 less. At this rate, it'll have paid for itself in less than 8 years."

"Well, the first time the replacement was ordered it was the wrong one, which of course, delayed the installation a week. When it was finally installed I had to pay an additional $850 for code upgrades. This I was not informed of by Home Shield. Then we noticed that there was water on the garage floor and found that the pipe coming in from the wall was leaking at the wall so had to call the plumbing company back out to fix it. They first tried to say it was not their fault but since there wasn't a leak before they installed they did fix it. I have used Home Shield a few times before and never had a problem. Some of the companies they use are not the best so you have to research them before you commit. I have found HS service to be good if you do your homework. At the end of the day I was without hot water for almost 3 weeks but it was do to the plumbing company they sent out."
