"Spencer construction repaired the damaged brickwork on my house after a stolen car ran into the house at high speed. The damages occurred around a brick surround for a support pillar and also effected brickwork between two garage doors. Kevin paid attention to ensure that the replacement bricks matched the damaged ones. He also was able to cut appart undamaged bricks so that they could be reused and make the repair look as if the incident had never happenned. He protected the mortar from rain while it was drying. As an experienced 3rd generation mason, he did everything right. He was the best of 6 masons I interviewed. I would not hestitate to recommend him to others. If you're looking for an experienced and creative mason who is attentive to detail he's the best!"

"Greg was prompt in coming to view what needed to be done and quickly assessed the best way to prevent storm water from entering our garage. He gave me a very fair bid and stuck to it. His work crew, Young and Jasper, were here right on time and worked hard all day until the job was completed. They didn't waste a minute, doing exactly what they said they would do. Their final product was excellent, much better than what I envisioned it would look like. Their work will resolve our problem (now I just have to keep things clean). Thank you for a job well done! "This is the second time that we have used NGL. First time was for our patio. They did an amazing job again. We removed a diseased hedge that was on two sides of our house. NGL was hired to expand our backyard including a privacy fence. They installed a beautiful retaining wall with fencing to match the rest of our yard. We have already received numerous positive comments about the new wall and fence. We are thrilled. They also installed a sprinkler system and new sod. Throughout the process they ensured our needs were met and made many helpful suggestions just as they had with the patio. Their work is exceptional and their skill is outstanding. "I called Tad from American Rose Garden last spring to discuss options to bring our lawn back to life as it was not looking the best! Tad arrived on time and was very easy to talk to. He was polite, personable and knowledgeable. He informed us of the pros and cons to option 1) re-seeding the entire lawn and option 2) laying sod. He kindly costed both methods out for us to help in our decision. After some consideration, we decided to have new sod laid and have the instant gratification of a nice lush green lawn. At the same time, we also had Tad and his team clean up the front and back yards, lay down fresh mulch and put in a few new shrubs. Tad’s team were polite and hard-working and they transformed our yard beyond recognition. Tad was rightly concerned with how our new lawn was going to get sufficient and regular watering, particularly with summer around the corner. He recommended getting an automatic timer and advised me about the type of sprinkler to buy and where to place it to ensure that all areas of the lawn would be watered. Tad later came back to install our new timer and help get our watering system set up correctly. Even though this took up most of his morning and involved a trip to the hardware store, he refused payment for this return visit. I was so impressed with this company from start to finish. Tad and his team were wonderful and I would not hesitate to recommend American Rose Garden to anyone looking to rejuvenate their landscaping."

"Stone and gravel patio well constructed including retaining wall. Paver patio well constructed. Per customer request after contractor declared job finished, pavers joints were sealed with polymeric sand. Also customer had to request finishing transitions between retaining wall and pavers. In summary, contractor is excellent in construction techniques but needed some prompting to make clean, finishing touches. Good communication with customer. Completed job and is responsive to customer requests. Customer is very satisfied with end result."
