"Sean is awesome came in the first time to fix our slider which was really hard to open and close so he replaced the track. Couple weeks later came back to replace the rollers but only charged for the parts, that fixed the hard sliding but then it started making a popping noise when you would open and close it. Called Sean and he came out within days of me calling. Took it off the track and worked his magic. Now the slider can be opened with one finger and is whisper quiet. I’m also in the trades and I know how hard it is to go back to the same repair multiple times but Sean is very professional and honest and puts the customer first and totally stands by their 1 year warranty, I’ve heard of other companies that will lie or make excuses to charge for every visit so they can make their “revenue”. For any repairs or upgrades for our doors or windows I will definitely call Sean at Washington Door Service."

His associate, Troy had no trouble understanding the old valve system and easily replaced valves and solenoids - leak repaired! This company was responsive and easy to work with. "The work itself was good, and satisfied with final product. Where they fell down was in the $700 estimate, by which I sent them the precise specs, as well as a link to the home depot item being installed. It ended with a second visit because they didn't finish, and an argument to get them down to a bill of $1150, ~60% higher than original estimate. I get sometimes things take longer, but they initially wanted me to pay double the original estimate. Last issue is the collection process. The work was complete on a Monday, by Wed when I mailed them a check with pmt in full, I had 3 messages from them telling me my bill was 'past due'. When I responded, their response was nasty. I literally sent a check in 2 days, and they acted like I was months past due. Post sending check, continued to get 4 additional daily notices. Not the friendliest place to do business. The workers they sent out however we're very friendly and great to work with, office staff, not so much."

"The GC, Don came out to give the estimate. He was knalagble and have a detailed list of what was going to be done and how long it would take. The estimate came in half of what the others 3 companies, I'm not sure if this was done on purpose to get the job or not. There was an issue with the old paint that was on the walls prior to starting the job. Don found a solution to fix it for the new paint that was going on over the old paint. This fix was part of the ariganal estimate. The work started on time with Melbin. Melbin had a hard time following the work listed on the estimate. He tried adding thing to the work that was called out for. He also went to the pait store to find out how to deal with the paint issue when that was already addressed. The store associated came up with a different solution that would cost me more for the work. Melbin called Don and Don called me to let me know it would cost me almost as much as the ariganal estimate. Work was stopped for less than half a day."
