"Three Tree Roofing did a great job on our roof. I highly recommend their high quality work and ethical business practices. We knew that we needed to replace the sagging sheets of ply-board on our roof and we wanted the 50 year CertainTeed Presidential shingles. It was important to us to find a certified installer we could trust. After meeting with a lot of roofing companies, we chose Three Tree Roofing because they offered the most value with highest ratings for installation of the type of roofing materials we wanted. The crew was very professional and cleaned up everything before they left for the day. We purchased some plywood we were going to put in the attic for a floor later and I asked the crew if they could set the boards in our attic while they have the roof open. They were really nice and had no problem putting them in our attic before they closed the roof up again. The roof looks great! We have had the roof long enough to have a couple really good hard western Washington rains and there are no leaks. The ridge vent is working well and not a drop of rain is coming into the attic. We had our gutters replaced by Three Tree too. Our original gutters were larger than our new gutters. There were some areas that the water from the roof was not going directly into the gutters and Three Tree Roofing sent someone out to come and work on the minor tweaks needed to make it perfect. Because our original gutters were so large we never had fascia boards. Three Tree Roofing installed new fascia boards at no charge to help fix the concerns we had about the gutters. It was very important to them to make sure that we were completely happy. I really appreciate that they made sure that our roof and the work they did for us will last for 50 years."

"From start to finish A Better Roofing company was outstanding. One of the few companies I've spoken to that hasn't exaggerated on work or used scare tactics. They were honest from the beginning with a price around half of the next cheapest bid with the same materials. We had a fair amount of mold and wood rot on our decking so most of the plywood needed replacing. Alan didn't try to make the damage seem worse than it was and gave us a very reasonable estimate on new plywood. One of the guys from a different company was offering to buy me a beer because the mold was "sooo severe" and he was sorry for me. Alan gave us a recommendation on a mold company who actually ended up saying it wasn't too bad. The roof replacement itself was great. The workers were nice, respectful and really fast. I have a friend that used to do roofing that commented on how impressed he was with their attention to detail. The workers cleaned everything up meticulously without leaving any nails, staples or other materials in the lawn. Next time I need a roof, I won't hesitate to call them."

"I had a great experience with this company - this is a longer review but the short version is they were wonderful and I would recommend them without hesitation. The longer version: Curtis was extremely responsive when I contacted him regarding a leak both by phone and by coming out the next day to evaluate the issue. They were also able to get the repair done relatively quickly considering my leak showed up the same time everyone else’s did right after our 1st big rain storm of the season. DHT was one of three companies that came out to give me a quote and this inspection was the most thorough; he checked all of the attic spaces in addition to the roof to make sure there were no other leaks that I just hadn’t seen yet. He was also the most respectful when explaining the issues to me, including showing me pictures from his inspection. DHT’s price point was midway between the other two quotes I received. More importantly, one of the companies that came out seemed pretty unconcerned whether or not I excepted their bid, while the other told me I needed an entire roof replacement for multiple “issues.” Neither of the other two companies were thorough enough to check the attic for additional concerns. When I asked Curtis about his thoughts on whether a roof replacement was necessary immediately and/or a good idea right now, he was very clear that there were some issues that needed to be fixed but that the roof could last several years with good maintenance and proactive work. He also was very honest with me when I tried to schedule a service that he thought was not appropriate for this time of year at a potential loss for his own business. Lastly, there were remaining materials after they completed the repair and they left those behind for me so that I would have them if something else came up at no additional cost. Having had my fair share of disappointing contractors, it’s nice to have someone I can refer others to without hesitating. There’s something to be said for a locally owned company that’s seems to be very invested in growing their business through solid work an excellent customer service."

"Roof was installed ahead of schedule. As we were replacing a clay tile roof with asphalt shingles, Eugene & team did a great job covering up some of the tan lines the old tile roof left on our paint. The reason for the quality ding: There was an issue with air flow to the roof we discovered years later and Eugene has been very responsive to help get the roof air flow dialed in appropriately. Once the air flow update is finished I will be sure to increase the quality score up by a star or two. He's a great friendly and timely roofer who I'd recommend for anybody in the area."

"We contracted with Metropolitan Roofing to replace the roof and gutters on our home. We got three different bids so we could make an informed decision. Metropolitan was the least expensive by a very significant amount. We worked with Doug Westhoff to ensure that even though this company was less expensive the work that the other two companies had planned to do was included in the Metropolitan bid. The 3 man crew arrived on the per-arranged date once the rain delays were past, our roof was replaced late February, early March. We worked with Sergio the project manager and Celio, the onsite manager and lead on site worker. Our roof is very steep and quite large, because of a large covered patio. The entire project took the 3 men 9 days to complete as they worked a minimum of 8 hours a day. They were really hard working taking few breaks other than their lunch. The roof had quite a bit of damage from a rather poor first roof and gutter install. 21 sheets of roof decking needed to be replaced due to water damage or moisture due to poor ventilation. Our roof was only 20 years old but it didn't wear very well. We can't say enough good things about this crew and all of the people we worked with at Metropolitan Roof. Each day the crew did a clean up putting work equipment away and cleaning up all the debris from the day's work. Included in the roof replacement was the addition of a Sun Tunnel in our upstairs bathroom. Prior to the roof replacement we had been unable to have additional natural light in the this bathroom because there was no access to the space above the bathroom. The installer worked with the roofing team to access the space via the roof sheeting. They did an excellent job getting it in the perfect spot to add natural light to the bathroom and the landing outside the bathroom door. The finally day of roofing the gutter crew arrived and completed the install of new gutters. They worked with us on the color and any special areas that might need more attention. This 3 man crews also was extremely hard working and did a fantastic job. We know that everyone's experience with a company can vary for many reasons; the employees, delays, product, and specifics for the job. Our experience with Metropolitan was nothing but outstanding! I can't promise your experience will be the same exceptional one we had, but I would bet the odds are pretty good."
