"Went amazing, Nick (highly recommend) came out to assess the situation on my 18 yr old (double drawer) dishwasher... he was careful not to break anything in the process, began trouble shooting parts, found out that likely due to heat and moisture of a dishwasher - the connector on one of the controller boards seems to not making good enough contact. He cleaned the connectors on both drawers before reassembly, and I had two fully working 18 yr old drawers on the spot with no new parts needed. Nick was also helpful to recommend brands that were less likely to see repair after purchase, I wasn't sure if I'd go with Fisher & Paykel again in the future - but I've had so few problems, and even now at 18 yrs the machines are working like new... so with Nick's insightful inputs, I'll probably upgrade to the latest Fisher/Paykel double-drawer model when I get to that point. I'm an engineer by trade, so I already know many of the likely appliance trades - and Nick of Sterling Appliance did a great job... I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to others, especially if you no idea about the appliances and need to trust the repair service. :) Nick did a wonderful job, explaining what his concerns were - and wasn't pushing a bunch of unnecessary alternatives... he was there to help me understand how to move forward."

"I noticed water under my fridge yesterday evening. Called Expert Appliance Services at 8am this morning. Was told they could have someone out to my house between Noon-3pm. I received a call around 11am informing me that the tech could be at my house in 30 minutes, which was great. I met him 30 minutes later (beat me to my house). I had given the model number over the phone, so he had all the parts on him. Two parts needed to be replaced. Job was done in less than 30 minutes. Tech couldn't of been nicer. Pricing was extremely fair and I used a coupon from a previous invoice. I highly recommend."

He looked at the situation and found that a service bulletin was issued for this model, which three previous repair in-person repair technicians had not told me about. He diagnosed the problem as requiring a new kit to replace the main PCB control board and the display board. He gave me the OEM part number. "UPDATED 10/30/2020: This is a revision of the 10/7/20 review. They did refund the overpayment and I'm glad that they have been working to make sure that they fixed the problem. They kept me informed about the schedule and arrived and checked the washing machine and determined that it was not the washing machine but I needed an electrician (When the electrician arrived after extensive searching they discovered that the problem was the sump pump) which has now been repaired). They quoted me a fee for the service call. While they were there I asked them about another appliance I was having trouble with. They took a peek and indicated what they thought was the matter and what would be needed for the repair. They gave me a bill for the quoted repair and I paid it by charge card. I was shocked to see that I was charged double the amount I was quoted when I looked at my credit card statement. I'm not sure if they charged me double because they looked at the other appliance, if it was a mistake or something else but I wish they had informed me that I was being charged more. As for the would I hire again I wish there was a maybe button."
