"Kicking Ash was right on time. A team of two quickly set up tarps to catch any dirt, dismantled the gas fireplace logs and cleaned them, inspected the gas valves and tested the flow of the gas. They also did an external inspection of the chimneys because I saw some discoloration on one of them. Looks like the original cap of the chimney is rusting and should be replaced. I have already hired them to fix the cap the spring when the weather is better."

"The estimate for the repairs went fine. The job needed to be completed on a different day due to the anticipated rain. Everything was professionally handled and the chimneys look great. Mike, who completed the work was very professional and punctual. I would look to hire them again in the future."

"I called and the gentleman who answered the phone was quite responsive to my series of questions and quasi-requests given my total lack of knowledge and experience in this arena of chimneys and fireplaces. We were able to get serviced the following day due to cancellation and were able to take advantage of a $20 online discount. The technician arrived promptly (actually earlier than) than 12-4pm window for service. He took his time explaining how things worked to my husband and cleaned the chimneys. He did note some issues that might need repair down the road but did not try to push us into additional services."

"Overall very satisfied with Bradley Builders. Owner Brad Arensburg did the estimate and spent time with my wife and I explaining the job and estimate. Of the four quotes we got for the roof (including several larger companies with excellent reputations), his was the most thorough and was the only company that proposed removing the vinyl siding to replace the step flashing with new step flashing that matched the installation specs of the new shingle size, which my own research confirmed would be the best way to install the new roof. Brad's cost was not the cheapest option but also not the most expensive we were quoted, and offered the most thorough scope of work (the siding work added several hours of labor performed by Brad and his assistant exclusively). Estimate was done in late June 2019 and work was completed in early August. Cleanup was thorough and Brad was onsite throughout the day to supervise the work crew personally, working on the roof alongside his crew. The new roof looks great and we have had no problems with it since August."

"By the time I called SOS, it was full on fireplace season, so my appointment was scheduled within 2 weeks. The technicians were very courteous (they even greeted and petted my dog when they went outside to inspect my chimney) and were incredibly detailed. They took extra care to make sure they did not get any dirt on my carpet and gave me instuctions as to how to care for my fireplace; I am a first time homeowner so this was extremely helpful. My fireplace does not have a door or screen on it, so they explained the importance of that, gave me some places to go where I could get a door at a reasonable price, and even measured the gap for me to let me know what size I needed to get. After inspection, they showed me their report and recommended that I get a power wash and a sealant due to some mortor issues on my fireplace. The quote was for about $450 and urged me to get this service done before it got too cold and they couldn't use the power washer. The next thing I know, I recieve a phone call informing me that SOS would be out to power wash and seal my fireplace the next week. Being this close to Christmas, and the fact that I just bought a house, I could not invest that kind of money into my fireplace and called SOS to inform them. They were very understanding and informed me that the next opportunity to do this would be spring, I said I would call them in the spring, but I felt a little more comfortable getting a second opinion on the chimney, as there were a lot of things on my "Spring Repair" list that I considered more urgent than my chimney. I would definitely use them again for chimney service and repair, but was a touch uneasy with the way the additional repairs portion was handled. I will err on the side that it was a miscommunication, because I have not recieved any follow ups or presurring phone calls to have the power wash completed."
