Outdoor Home Center has been in business for over 15 years in Manassas and the Northern Virginia area. Storage sheds and gazebos are our specialty. We do free at home site visits bringing brochures, paint samples, vinyl siding samples, and roof shingle samples. If you want to visit us at our shop we have almost an acre of outdoor displays. No appointment is needed. Outdoor Home Center is open 7 days a week too. We are a small company with two owners. We both share the duties of the free estimates at your home and we are also on site when building your shed or gazebo. Please note that we are being requested to assist in building sheds from big box companies. We will not provide this service. We build with our own materials and provide our own warranties.

"Initial rep was great and informative. Felt comfortable with initial sale. Hardly had any contact from customer service except for the payments. There were several delays that we were not informed about unless we called to ask. Took 7 months before they showed up to begin project. Only 1 person was sent to build steps. Took a week. Hard worked, hardly took a break. Had to call again to see when they would come to pour patio. Never knew when they were coming, they just showed up. Hardly spoke with the homeowners. Inspection paperwork was just left on porch. Additional paperwork that is "required by the County" had to be completed by homeowner and taken to Court house to be notarized and filed and also provide a copy back to Long Fence. Time sensitive materials which added to homeowners to-do list. Gave this contract to LF on the surface of their history and appearance of a 'good local company' but should have stayed with original contactors in VA. Puddle of water forms when it rains"

"I purchased 11 windows from fairway on 6/27 with a 4-8 week timeframe. They said it may run up to 9-12 weeks due to supply delays and that was fine with me. After 3 months I contacted them and was told they aren’t in with no estimated arrival date. I continued to call and sometimes I was able to get through to the receptionist who was always in her car and didn’t have any additional information to provide. She would always say that Gary would get in contact with me but out of all the calls I made, I was only able to speak to him once. I continued calling and by late October they finally said 5 were in and agreed to install them which was done on 10/31 and said they would discount me $150.. They did not notify me that they were coming to install on that day and left the door to my unit open but at least half were done so I was somewhat relieved!! I proceeded to call until late December and they continued to say no windows. At this point, I asked to cancel them because I was looking at selling and since over 6 months had passed I no longer had need for them. They said this wasn’t an option and that it would have to be canceled through the manufacturer. I asked for that number but they wouldn’t provide it and said she would have to call to check. No update was ever given. Now we are at mid March, a full 9 months since ordering and I have given up on receiving the windows. They required half a deposit upfront which was 2001.58. The windows that I did not receive were going to require more work removing the steel so they were more expensive than the 5 I did get. So in short, over the last 9 months, I ended up receiving half my order and paid $2000 of the $4000 bill but only received $1375 worth of my order. I feel liked I was scammed out of my money for services that were never going to be provided and I just want a return of my deposit that was taken from me. Now after seeing how many others are in the reviews experiencing the same thing I filed a complaint with BBB and my credit card company."
