"We have problems with one of the burners on our gas GE cooktop and have decided to purchase an electric model. Both Home Depot and Angi helped us in our search for an electrician. Happily, we found Zack Nelson of Nelson Electric in nearby Vacaville. He promptly arrived, checked our electric panel, cabinets above and under our cooktop, and attic for running new electric wiring from the garage panel to the kitchen. A previous estimate led us to believe this wish to change from gas to electric was more than we wanted to pay. Zack has a "can do" attitude, and his price was much lower. Within days, Zack and his crew member Westley completed the following: replacement of two breakers in our sub panel to make room for the new 40 amp breaker and installed a 40 amp 240 volt circuit to the cabinet under the cooktop. This was done within a couple of hours and they cleaned up completely before they left. We are now ready to purchase and have our new electric cooktop installed. Called immediately after Home Advisor sent a request and came to home within 2 hours to discuss work to be accomplished. Caller was the one who did the work and the estimate was not changed. "Joe is hard working, diligent, and honest. I hired him 1) to put up an antenna for local tv service and 2) to fix poor wifi signals. TV was converted from cable rapidly using leftover wires. Saving $ not paying for cable and streaming off wifi. Great signal strength! WiFi was harder. He worked with ATT to determine my new iMac was sucking signals. He installed a more powerful router that solved wifi issues when iMac is off. Now I have to work with Apple to figure out how to manage the computer searching. I would not hesitate to call Joe back again. He is an excellent technician and a fine person. He is pretty busy, so sometimes it takes a few days before he can come out, but he is worth the wait."
