He went all around my yard and did a very thorough job of evaluating what needed to be done.</p> <p>He told me he would go home and work up an estimate for me and call me later on, which he did. I thought his estimate was very reasonable and we hired him to do the job. We scheduled the date, he showed up right on time and he and his assistant went to work immediately. They completed the whole job in a couple of hours, then he took me around to show me everything that had been done. He also tested all of the sections while I was there with him and even took the time to show me some things about my sprinkler timer that I was unaware of. "Great. I needed to have the fitting on the gas line that comes out of the wall updated to be used with a new range and oven. It's an older home and the existing gas line fitting would not work with the new range. The work was completed quickly and correctly -- and that was terrific. And yet, that wasn't the whole value play for me. This range was being installed on December 23 and that's when the problem was found. Facing a Christmas with no range and oven was a real possibility and yet, not surprisingly, it was very difficult to find someone who could address this quickly. The fix was known to be easy yet availability was the problem. And, in fact, I had struck out after calling a half dozen firms on Angie's list trying to find someone who could do this. When I called Armstrong it was the same story: It would be several days before they could get someone out to address the issue. Yet, when I explained the impact of that, the woman from Armstrong services was extremely sensitive to the situation and reworked her tech schedule of get someone in to get it done that day -- within a couple of hours of my request. It's not an exaggeration to say that she saved Christmas. After this experience, I would highly recommend Armstrong."

"We were going to have a regular grass & drip system installed in the backyard and Joe gave us the name of the company for landscape & building materials so we can check out the prices and materials we want installed. We told him what we wanted and he explained the things to be done at the same time. He gave us an estimate for the work after a few days. We also let him know that we may go for artificial turf and he was nice enough to let us know that we can ask the same company about artificial turf installation because he doesn't do that kind of work. In fact, he was very helpful & accommodating when we told him of our decision to go with artificial turf instead. My husband & I were comfortable talking to him and if he did this kind of work, we will surely hire him!!!"

He looked over all my sprinklers and let me know that the problem I was having was with my valves.  He also suggested putting my sprinkler system on a timer.  He was very professional and set up a time for the work to be done.  The work was scheduled to start at 9 am I did not get a call but the tech doing the work did show up a few minutes late.  Once the tech showed up he worked very quickly and put the timer exactly where I had asked.  All in all everything is working great and I would use this company again. <br />"
