"It had been a year since my carpets were last cleaned, and there were several areas with marks and stains  After the cleaning all the problem areas were taken care of, and the carpets everywhere look very good.
Jon had cleaned the carpets the year before, and I was pleased with the work then, also.

"I thought it was great. Tom, who owns the store, waited on me. Of course, he is very knowledgeable and he helped me pick out heirloom rugs. He was happy to help me and had a very pleasing personality. He did the work for me, he ordered what I wanted, he found the carpet and he himself delivered it to me with a helper. I was very pleased and would go back to him in a second. I thought the carpet was very reasonably priced."

"The work was absolutely amazing, professional, and on time. The estimate was spot on for the amount of flooring that they worked on. The price was reasonable for the quality of the work that they did."

"Competition is fierce and quality varies widely , so the decision process is frustrating to both the customer and the dealer. Our decision to deal online with Beckler's Carpet in Dalton, GA was a tough one. It was compounded by dealing with a stranger, remoteness of location, inventory uncertainty, deceptive total installed cost pricing, private labeling, and installer challenges imposed because local dealers and contractors were reluctant to install carpet purchased elsewhere at a competitive price per square yard . We are very pleased with our selection. So I want to especially thank Stephanie Kierce for her excellent responsiveness and professional competence. Stephanie is courteous, thoughtful, conscientious, and provided me with exceptional customer service . All of these traits truly differentiated her from the online pool of remote voices or practices an informed customer encounters at home improvement stores like Home Depot/Lowes and/or national discount chains on TV like Empire Today. Once they electronically process your credit card charges instantaneously, often then they cannot be bothered with keeping commitments. Stephanie returned Email and voice messages promptly, was able to update, explain and answer me briefly, - in the detail I asked for- , i.e. Shaw's Thinking Large II attributes, cost ,quality and shipping alternatives. Stephanie upgraded us to the memory foam Heavenly Walk padding from Blue Lagoon. Then I called back six weeks later, because several installers had been stonewalling me. However, Stephanie on that same day , recommended Timothy Floors Carnegie, PA. 15106 from the CERTIFIED FLOORCOVERING INSTALLERS (CFI) website. Tim Welsh Owner Telephone: (412) 969-2408 did adhere to CRI guidelines as the professional installer who measured, received, inspected, cut, scheduled the new carpet and pad installation . He properly power stretched and double glued seams of the new carpet besides lifting the old carpet, cutting it into rolls and moving furniture out and back. XPRESS GLOBAL Systems, the shipper and their receiving terminal in Zip Code 15108 also earned a five star rating for their critical role and helpfulness in the process."

"This was the letter I sent to Turn2Us to accompany their questionnaire once work was completed: I am sure this was a longer process than Scott Herbert had anticipated as the originally scheduled date of 14 September had to be pushed back because Home Depot delayed the delivery of the door Scott was to put in…it finally arrived on the 24th. We also ran into problems with the weather…the items not related to the door could not be done because of what can only be described as “monsoon season in Chattanooga”!! Scott was great throughout and rescheduled as needed with a smile. When work finally began there were a couple of hiccups but again Scott worked through them with a smile and never once had a problem. We actually increased the number of posts being replaced on the porch from one to four and he got a new quote and took care of it. Work completed on 3 October with one of those hiccups (a trim piece break on the installed door) being replaced. Again, Scott did the job with no issues and a smile throughout. Thank you for allowing us the opportunity to use your service. We will do so in the future for any other items we need to have completed."

"Our purple carpet had about 100 urine stains from previous dogs and our own. The specialist, Robert, matched to color and treated every spot. If we didn't know where they were, we'd never know they spots had been there. Perfect job!"

FAQs for carpet installation projects in Rising Fawn, GA

Carpet rolls come in standard widths of 12 and 15 feet. Less commonly, you might find a roll 13.5 feet wide. There are no standard roll lengths, but they’ll have enough to cover almost any home.

You’ll need equal amounts of carpet padding and carpet. Carpet padding costs $200 to $500 for the average room. However, the padding is trimmed a couple of inches away from the wall on all sides to make room for tack strips. Most residential installs have padding, and professionals include this in their bids.

Often, the best carpet for basements doesn’t include a pad. You’ll find this mainly in humid areas or places with a high-water table.

One linear foot of carpet or other material is simply one foot measured in a straight line. You typically aren’t going to measure carpet this way. It’s quoted in square feet or square yards.

There are nine square feet in one square yard of carpet.

The amount of carpet you need to cover two rooms varies depending on the room size and configuration. Measure the floor space. Multiply width times length. Do this for both rooms and add the numbers together.

You’ll need between 80 and 110 square feet for 13 stairs. For unique stairwells, you might need more.

Measure indoor/outdoor carpet like you would any other area, taking the width times the length. For patios, make sure to add a couple extra inches to wrap around the edges. Indoor-outdoor carpets cost an average of $3.50 per square foot.

You’ll need enough carpet to cover the entire area of damage to avoid seams. For example, if you have a 4-inch tear in the middle of a hallway, you’ll want enough carpet to stretch from door to door or the next available seam. Depending on the type of carpet you have, you might be able to get a professional to do an invisible seam repair.

One square foot of carpet is one foot long by one foot wide.
