"I did not hire Knee s electrical service because I was quoted for a 22 KW generator at $11,000. I had a suspicion that I did not really need that much for what I was wanting but planned to get three quotes before I hired someone for the project. There were two men sent out to my home. They stood in the kitchen and plugged information into a tablet with a generator sizing tool on it and told me I needed the 22 kw. They did not look around the house, or explain anything to me about how the process worked. I ended up going with another company who was very communicative and informative and purchased a 16 kw generator and with installation and everything it was $6570.68. I feel comfortable with my decision to go with the other company and would not recommend Knee s electrical service for a whole home generator installation."

"I Called Joe on 3/17/2015 and asked if he would have a look at my old hot tub and let me know if he thought it would be wise to have it repaired or replaced. He returned my call that same day and said he could come by the next day. He called promptly the next day, came out and inspected my tub. He honestly told me that he could repair my hot tub but the cost would outweigh the usefulness. We agreed on having him unhook and take the old tub away. He took care of the electrical hook up and removed the tub from my deck, did an excellent cleanup, and made sure I was happy with his work before he left. "The quote came from Nick and since I can't remember if Nick is the name of the man I met with in person or not, I'm just going to call him Man. Man and I met to look at the garage. It's at a property we were preparing to sell. Man was late getting there but did let me know he was leaving another job and running behind. Still, I was waiting for a while. After he looked at the garage, he said he would get a quote to me and I gave him my email address to do so. He texted me several days later and asked me to call so he could tell me the quote over the phone. He had done this with my husband on a different job and I wanted a quote in writing, not verbally. I texted back to please email me the quote. A day or two later I got the quote and it was $1850.00 to power wash, prime, and paint the garage. This is a one-story, two car garage. We had 3 people give us quotes and his was the highest by far (the other two were $885 and $1276). We were of the opinion that the gentleman who gave us the quote for $1276 had overbid because he didn't want to do the job. I thought $1850 was excessive and way out of line with what needed done. We will not be calling for quotes anymore."
