"Turned out that the fix was simple -- but we wouldn't have known what to do without advice from the technician. Really appreciate the service and expertise! Only complaint was that the tech took unnecessary time asking about products we use in the dishwasher. We have no complaints about the quality of washing and drying we are getting, and we're committed to using products that don't scratch or perfume our dishes or harm the water supply. Technician asked what we use and told us to "throw that away" and use recommended products. I can understand that certain products are recommended with certain makes of appliances -- but it would have taken 20 seconds to tell us what the recommended products are without having our choices criticized. Overall, we were thrilled to be able to get sound advice/help over the phone. Thank you for offering this service! And we will definitely call again if we run into trouble."

"There were a few glitches with scheduling due to truck breakdown, so the job took a little longer than expected. Overall, the job was very satisfactory. The custom tile work on the shower couldn't be better. Our house is over 100 years old, so nothing was square or level. Jake is very particular, so 2x4s were planed and every thing was  "plumb and square".  He didn't take shortcuts, even when we wouldn't have known the difference. We'd have them back in a heartbeat.

"Technician came to the house and analyzed the problem. It was determined that the cost of repair was over the allowable Choice Home Warranty limit and it should be replaced. Choice Home Warranty issued their replacement cost. This cost was unacceptable and I challenged their figure. After some negotiation I was offered an increased settlement amount. I still balked at their offer but I was told to take it or repair my old microwave. I finally accepted their amount, even though it is still well below what it will cost me to replace the unit. I might add that the existing microwave has the convection feature and I want to replace with same features. The cost that I will receive also does not include any removal, disposal or installation costs. At this time I am debating whether I will continue with Choice Home Warranty or consider other options."
