He also designed, fabricated and installed new iron railing pairs for the porch and both step sets, having taken meticulous angle measurements of the old ones. The custom handrails and pickets are an exhibit of top notch welding and are anchored quite securely. In its precision and detail, the brickwork has been described by other contractors as seriously impressive. Neighbors and passersby have stopped by to give their compliments, some asking for his contact information. In the beginning, he carefully assessed and shared his vision of the finished work, and the estimated costs. In the end, the bill was below his estimate. You’ll find none better to deal with as well. "This was a very involved plaster repair and remediation job, in a very old house. Grady is the only person (or company) who was willing to take on the job and drive all the way from Pennsylvania to our home in Northern Virginia. There are very few people who do this kind of work anymore (we really searched) and he is an expert in his field. "We are pleased to recommend Triangle Reconstruction with our highest praise. It seems too simple to say that they do what they said they’d do, but that’s exactly what happened. Our home is around 50 years old. Ours was a large job - around a month and $30,000. We had Triangle Reconstruction come in after another moisture company provided mold remediation and a humidifier. I wish we’d contacted TR to start with. We provided TR with a structural engineering report. They created a plan to exactly meet all of engineer’s concerns. TR used temporary supports and replaced seal plates, girders, and joists for over half of our home. In addition, they poured footers and built new columns. They also added a few additional girders to firm up our floors. They removed and replaced our insulation. They sealed our porch and crawl space, replaced our vapor barrier, and installed a moisture meter. They wrapped our electrical cords and hung them. The people at TR are remarkable. A+++++"

"The crew arrived on the date/time promised. They were polite, professional, and worked non-stop (except for 2 short breaks and lunch). Because of my landscaping, the crew determined the best way to get to the bottom of the foundation was to dig a hole—24” x 8’. It was truly impressive—perfectly squared off. They sealed the wall, replaced the dirt, and replaced decorative stone. They then installed a 50’ French drain—trenching, refilling the trench, and removing excess debris. The crew worked as a team, did a top-notch job, and left the job sites better than they found them. It took them 4 days—and they never wavered from an extraordinary work ethic. That was last week. This week? We’ve had torrential downpours and flooding—but my basement and garage are dry. I’d hire them again in a heartbeat."

"Luis and his team did an excellent job on our 107-year old farmhouse.  Weather delayed the start of the project, but once underway, it went smoothly and quickly.  Of course we are extremely happy that our house is now resting on a solid foundation (and you can feel just how much more solid it is, which gives us a great sense of security), but the best part for us is how comfortable the encapsulation and insulation has made our home.  It's no longer cold and damp; the floors aren't cold; and the air quality is dramatically improved.  Luis promised that there would be a dramatic difference in the comfort level of our home and there is.  It is so warm and cozy -- just in time for the delayed winter.  We had a competitive bid from another Angie's List provider, but we are very happy we went with Xpert.  Luis has had decades of construction experience, which showed on the job.  He notices everything and stays on top of all of the details.  He also graciously helped us with advice on other projects we are planning that are completely unrelated to the foundation work he was doing.  In terms of cost, while an expensive project overall, we feel that we got our money's worth.  When the project was underway and hidden problems that required additional work came to light (literally), Luis worked with us to keep the cost as low as possible.  We are very glad we chose Xpert and highly recommend. <br />"
