"When I called on Saturday morning, was greeted by lady who was very kind in understanding the problem and to make me an appointment (not an answer machine--they were working on Saturday!). At my convenience, were able to set appointment for Thursday afternoon. The Technician called my cell when he was on the way, and we both arrived at the same time at my house. Tom helped me remove food from the freezer when he needed to work. He then replaced the defroster thermostat and also attempted to quiet the rattling of the motor case which is irritating to me. He was very good at explaining everything and answering my questions understandably. I wrote him a check for the service, and he said, "you know we give a free service call again within 30 days if you need." I was surprised, as that has never been offered to me previously by other companies and it seems most repairs don't get things fixed in one visit. <br /> So when the rattle continued to get louder I called 10 days later and asked if they would work me in for another visit "when in the neighborhood." They called me back the next day to set another afternoon service call for 2 days later. Again he called ahead, but I missed the call for 20 minutes. He waited for me to arrive home and was still very patient, did good work, and came prepared with foam tape to help with the rattling noise. He also warned me that the loud noise was the compressor, and it may be dying--just get prepared. He also counseled that new refrig compressors won't last 15 yrs like this one has. <br />"
