"Jeremiah was amazing with customer service. Attentive, always responded. Lamar was the technician. I just didn’t feel like he had a lot of experience but he was here quite awhile, inside and outside the home. Jeremiah said they charged $299 and no mileage fee, but did not mention that the two tests to see if it was black mold would be $700! That was upsetting but you were stuck because you had paid $300 for him to come out. It took a while to get tests back but that wasn't their fault. Just wish we hadn't been blindsided, but otherwise very reliable."

"We had an issue with the AC unit in our crawl which caused a mold condition. Mold spores were circulating throughout or home unbeknownst to us at the time. The condition was found after an extensive search given that our daughter experienced sever symptoms that no other family member experienced. Our daughter was diagnosed with a CIRS condition which made her more prone to mold amounts that others would not normally be sensitive to. We had 2 contractors replace our AC unit and crawl ducts followed by a full encapsulation. We then requested 4 quotes to remediate the dead spores from our 2 level home. The quotes were all over the place with one being opportunistically high given our location and daughters condition. Mold Hunter provided a fair quote and we went with their services. Job took a few weeks to schedule. The crew arrived promptly on the appointment day. The job took 3 days to complete with large scrubbers running 24/7. Air testing was performed which indicated a positive outcome. When we reintroduced our daughter to the home she felt sensitivity to the in home environment. We called the owner of Mold Hunter Mike Smith, who came to our home and spent an hour reviewing our situation to better understanding our daughters sensitivities. Mike offered to bring back a crew and add a protocol for remediation that was suggested by my daughters health provider. It was at no additional expense to us. The additional protocol was recommended after the initial remediation and only after our daughters symptoms were still present. This was above and beyond what we originally contracted the Mold Hunter to provide. Mikes crew spend another 2 days in our home operating under the medical protocol. We had the home tested 3 weeks later ( allowing for a dust build up) and have now succeeded in greatly reducing our daughters symptoms. Mike was sensitive to our very unique situation and took the time to get us to an acceptable level that 99% of average remediation customers would not require. He's an honest business man with integrity. A trait that has all but vanished, most especially in the field of remediation where medical concerns can signal margin opportunity."

"I am so happy that we chose Pure Air of North Carolina to do our mold remediation work this autumn. After interviewing several businesses, we were most impressed with Pure Air. They were the only company that stipulated they would perform testing both before and after treatment. Unlike the other companies, they recommended that we should leave all our cushions, rugs, and furniture in place so that those items could be treated for mold spores, too. Their prices were quite reasonable for the magnitude of our job, and their work ethic is excellent. They showed up on time, they did everything they said theyâ d do, and more, and they cleaned up their mess when they left. After treatment, unfortunately, they called me to tell us that our post treatment test still showed an unacceptable level of spores, and so they rescheduled a complete redo. They called me.
