"We have been extremely happy with all of the workmanship and the workers were all very professional. When John had another contractor come in, as in when the concrete was poured in the garage, they were all professional tradesman and not handymen. We had daily communication on the progress and John always talked to us in detail on how the job was progressing. All material was high grade and best quality. The job site was always cleaned up at the end of the work day. We did go above our discussed budget, but only because of some issues that needed to be brought up to code and that we decided not to go a cheaper route to fix the issue. We also made the decision to change or add on to the original plan, but we have been extremely happy with the job(s) that were done and would not change a thing we had done. We are extremely happy that our home is now maintenance free and we have and still do receive many compliments on the improvements done to our home. We would recommend Beyer Builders to anyone looking to do any remodeling to their home, inside or out!"

"We'd gone to Terry on several occasions previously, but now it was time to prep our home to sell. Terry came over to assess the long list of projects we needed accomplished on a fairly tight timeline: sanding and refinishing our red brick fireplace, recaulking a tub, upgrading our garage door, replacing our oven igniter, and a bunch of other little jobs beyond my ability. He mapped out a plan, stayed in touch with me on a regular basis, and committed to getting our list done before we moved out. The guy is Mr. Follow-Through. He worked Saturdays and even Sundays to get the jobs done. I found his prices fair and carefully calculated. Too bad he'll be too far away for us to call after we've moved out of state!"

"Dave Lennox saved us $2,500 +.  He was the sixth technician to inspect one of the 70+ Magic-Pak units we have installed in our apartment buildings.  He was the only technician who was determine to understand what was wrong with the unit in order to see if he could fix it.  Two other companies/technicians had not seen this unit before - one did not know how to remove the access panel and the other shut the gas off and said the unit was dangerous and that we needed to replace it.  Two companies/technicians walked away from the job, stating that they had never worked on this type of unit before (more common in Chicago), and the last person, before Dave, said we should just replace it, without looking at the unit.  <br /> Dave blew us away with his determination and dedication to find the problem and fix it if he could. He respected what other technicians had said, but would not absently corroborate their diagnosis.  Rather, he took apart the unit and found a large wasp nest buried high up in the vent. He vacuumed it out, put the unit back together, tested it, and handed us a bill for $180.  <br /> I am so grateful for the skill and integrity of this man.  In an industry saturated with dishonesty, laziness, and a lack of talent, this was a pleasant experience.  Dave could have pocketed $2,500+, but he didn't.  And now we plan to reward him with any work we need done on the rest of the units, and the many other buildings we own.  That's how important this experience was for us.  And by the way, this young man is in his 30's.  Technicians much older than him can learn from his example. <br /> Thank you Dave, <br /> East Cherry Vale Apts <br />"

"Jared Freeman was professional and very knowledgeable. He paid attention to detail and was meticulous with his work. For example, I was very happy with the tile work he did. I was keeping the same tiles that I had on my kitchen floor which was done about 6 years ago. However, since part of the remodeling was to remove the peninsula and replace it with an island, there were some tiles that had to be removed in order to correctly follow the pattern of my existing floor. The existing tiles were discontinued and I only had very limited leftover tiles from 6 years ago. Jared was very careful with making sure that none of the existing tiles were broken and he expertly installed tiles to cover up where the peninsula used to be. The remodeling had to be put on hold for a week because we had to wait for the fabrication and installation of my countertops. Jared was very accommodating and immediately resumed work once the countertops were installed. The farm sink that I bought was quite heavy. I am very happy that he put extra support underneath the sink. Sometimes, when remodeling a kitchen, you will face hurdles along the way as you do the actual work. Jared was always able to find a solution or a workaround to remove the hurdles and make things right. I would like to make special mention of one of his crew, named Dave. Dave was always focused, worked quickly and efficiently. I am grateful for the hard work that Jared and his crew put in my kitchen. He managed the project well, accommodated all my requests and worked within my budget."

"Brian was very professional and did very high quality work. He brainstormed with me on what could be done to fix the grout tile problem we had in our kitchen, gave me several options for what type of door handle we could install and brought out samples of materials we could use for the projects. He worked carefully and efficiently. The fees for his work were very fair. Brian was very conscientious of my wishes, time and specific needs.
