"Water Heater Masters were top-notch! I called on a Saturday afternoon - they were available 9am Sunday morning to come and inspect and quote. They only had one guy working that day, but scheduled me for Monday morning between 8 and 9. At 8:15am I got a call with an ETA of 8:45, which was a really nice touch! Despite telling me it would take an entire day to install, they were done by 1pm. They also found some creative ways to do the install to avoid drilling through my stucco (for the exhaust vent and for the condensate run-off). Very professional and clean-looking install. These guys may not always be the cheapest around, and they recommended a top-of-the-line heater (which is what I really wanted anyway), but I'd much rather pay a little extra for that level of service and support. I requested the work be permitted. The crew worked hard, but cleanup could have been better. Unfortunately, the day after the job was completed, a newly installed pipe behind our chimney leaked, soaking our brick fireplace. They repaired it, but it leaked again a couple of days later, causing more water damage. We had to shut off our water and went without water until Monday because no technician was available Sunday. I was told someone would bring fans to dry the area, but no one came, so I rented them myself. The city later failed the inspection, requiring additional corrections. We paid quite a bit for this project. After final payment, communication became very poor. I expected better follow-up and accountability for a job of this size."
