"100+ year old brick building with 6-7+ layers of roof was leaking. Sam the owner of Expert Super Seal Roofing was able to bid the job within a few days of the initial contact call. He quickly revised the contract in response to some of our concerns and supplied us with proof of liability insurance upon request. The original plan involved tearing off all the old roofing layers, placing insulation on the deck, placing a base sheet on the insulation, placing a torch down bitumen system, placing a new coping on one of the parapet walls and a final liquid aluminum asphalt coat and guttering. After the many layers of the roof were torn off-the much larger scope of the job became apparent as at least 1/4 of the roof area had rotten decking and joists and a large section of the inner brick layer of the parapet wall had to be rebuilt. The original time estimate was 2 days and the job was completed in 5 consecutive days. When the need for additional work became apparent Sam immediately had extra workers on site and the extra materials that were needed for the rebuild. An additional dumpster was needed due to the extent of the tear off. Throughout the job Sam kept us posted with photos as to the extent and progress of the work. I was impressed with quality of the work, the efficiency of the workers and the job site clean-up."

I had Steve come out to check my roof out initially to see if I needed to have a new roof or if just replacing the shingles would be fine. He explained everything as plain as day, so that I would understand exactly what he was saying. He was extremely honest with the situation of my roof and in no way was trying to be a salesman. Steve is very knowledgeable and very personable, he made me feel like he really cared about my house and the situation I was in. "There was a long delay (several months, all told) to get the work done, thanks to the rush of pandemic home improvement projects. But I appreciated that the staff from McCann were communicative and did their best to estimate when things would be done. When I got the call that my custom doors had finally arrived, they were able to install next day! Which was great timing as it was installed just before a long cold snap. The new door and storm door are great - so well sealed that not only are there no drafts, but there's so much less noise coming in from the street. The installers were polite and respectful and did a great job, including matching the color of the interior caulking to the tile floor in our entryway perfectly. My only complaint is the interior framing was a little dirty and banged up, though they provided touchup paint that I used to clean it up."

"It was kind of an emergency for me as squirrels had eaten a hole in my roof. Also my existing roof, two layers of shingles, needed to be replaced although I wanted to wait until summer 2020. I got an estimate from another roofer about two days prior but their prices were too high. I needed this done ASAP because of the hole and it was November. The weather was about to get too cold to get it done. I called Tom at Buk roofing. He came out that day and gave me an estimate. Great price for what I wanted done. He was pretty booked and said he would try to get it done by Thanksgiving, I called him November 6 2019. Tom is a roofer with a heart because he called me the next day and said he and his crew would be out Saturday 11/10/2019. They arrived a 7:00 am and were done a little after dark. He and his crew got it done and walked all around my property for clean up. These guys were great and I would definitely hire again."
