"The carpet layers were working at the same time as the painter. They were not terribly careful and the painter had to go back and touch up a multitude of scratches. The carpet looks great and they completed the install in a timely fashion. We had continuous feedback and contact with the store.T <br />"

"Our purple carpet had about 100 urine stains from previous dogs and our own. The specialist, Robert, matched to color and treated every spot. If we didn't know where they were, we'd never know they spots had been there. Perfect job!"

"If I could give.an A++++ I would! What a great company. I will be going to them for all future flooring needs. A great Christian family run business. They went out of thier way to find an affordable remnant for a charitable project we.were working on. Then when I was over my head on installation they helped tremendously there as well. What great people! Thank you.idaho <br />"

"Carpet One in Ponderay, Idaho has been a pleasure to do business with. They have a large and varied selection of tiles, flooring and carpet, their staff is knowledgeable, installation is great. But more than anything else, the store's customer satisfaction guarantee is real. Through no fault of Carpet One, we had some hardwoods installed which turned out to have a manufacturing defect. The manufacturer did not stand behind their product, but Carpet One did, and they replaced our hardwoods with a different manufacturer's product at no additional cost to us. It is rare to find a company which has the integrity to honor their guarantee and do what it takes to make sure their customers are satisfied with both their product and service, but this one does. Highly recommend this store!"

"Everything went well from beginning to end. Provider showed up on time and performed the tasks as quoted plus we really enjoyed the fact that they told us what they were doing, why, preventive measure, etc. Very, very happy with everything and Dennis and Chris were a joy to have come over and do this job for us."

"It was an awesome experience. They helped us every step of the way as far as getting the things done so we could close on our new home in time. Their customer service is phenomenal and they are very polite. They personally came to our house to ensure everything we asked for was being completed. I would absolutely use them for another home!"

FAQs for carpet installation projects in Rogerson, ID

Carpet rolls come in standard widths of 12 and 15 feet. Less commonly, you might find a roll 13.5 feet wide. There are no standard roll lengths, but they’ll have enough to cover almost any home.

You’ll need equal amounts of carpet padding and carpet. Carpet padding costs $200 to $500 for the average room. However, the padding is trimmed a couple of inches away from the wall on all sides to make room for tack strips. Most residential installs have padding, and professionals include this in their bids.

Often, the best carpet for basements doesn’t include a pad. You’ll find this mainly in humid areas or places with a high-water table.

One linear foot of carpet or other material is simply one foot measured in a straight line. You typically aren’t going to measure carpet this way. It’s quoted in square feet or square yards.

There are nine square feet in one square yard of carpet.

The amount of carpet you need to cover two rooms varies depending on the room size and configuration. Measure the floor space. Multiply width times length. Do this for both rooms and add the numbers together.

You’ll need between 80 and 110 square feet for 13 stairs. For unique stairwells, you might need more.

Measure indoor/outdoor carpet like you would any other area, taking the width times the length. For patios, make sure to add a couple extra inches to wrap around the edges. Indoor-outdoor carpets cost an average of $3.50 per square foot.

You’ll need enough carpet to cover the entire area of damage to avoid seams. For example, if you have a 4-inch tear in the middle of a hallway, you’ll want enough carpet to stretch from door to door or the next available seam. Depending on the type of carpet you have, you might be able to get a professional to do an invisible seam repair.

One square foot of carpet is one foot long by one foot wide.
