"
Barton Little is very charismatic and personally works hard to hound unresponsive insurance agents until they give your claim the personal attention it deserves. The roofing crew that he hires did a good job with installation, and left the yard etc with very few scraps. I believe I was able to find a total of 3 nails/screws throughout the entire yard, so overall great job there. Mr. Little also requires no payment until you are paid by the insurance company- another reputable business practice to look for when hiring a roofing company, and prior to making our final payment, he either answered the phone personally or returned calls/texts/emails within the hour of missing our communication.
Unfortunately, the crew nailed the new roof through our expensive gutter system, which also needed to be replaced, and thus would not have been an issue had he returned our calls or emails in order to come rectify the issue- which will require removing that lowest portion of roof to slide the old gutter system out and then reinstall that portion of the roof. Not that I'm claiming this is easy-I've never installed a roof- but it should be a straightforward project with a straightforward solution.
It took 3 weeks for Mr. Little to contact us and resolve this issue, but when he finally emailed us, he promptly sent a subcontractor to our property to assess the project, and the subcontractor then quickly scheduled a day to complete the work. Per the gutter company, there were no further problems that they could see, and from the street the roof looks as beautiful as the day it was installed.
Thus, I give Synergy Roofing an A rating. A+ for initial hard work and quality of installation, A- for follow-through post-installation, but with some prompting Mr. Little will be true to his word and his warranty, so I would recommend Synergy Roofing for all your roofing and general contracting needs."

"The installation took less than 3 hours. They showed up exactly when they said they would, were very polite, courteous, and professional. The concrete cracked on the the first cute, but they cut a new spot a few inches over so that it would be aesthetically appealing...but, more importantly so that we would have any issues with leakage. They cleaned up the mess VERY, VERY well. I would highly recommend them and use them again.
"

"Overall the job was done well, but not long after the roof began to leak around chimney every time it rained.
After many calls and no responses, Andy showed up at our house, stating that he had stopped many times and no one was home which could be beings we both work full time.
He said there was a spot the siliconed and should not be leaking. And I told him it was and wanted to show him where it was leaking, but he was not interested in that.
So after many rains and the wall began to show major damage, and many more unanswered phone calls we decided to contact our Lawyer to seek legal action.
Well that at least we finally got a response. Our Lawyer said he the bricks where deteriorating and flashing was not able to seal properly so water would run down chimney. My problem was that was the first I had heard him say that, all i knew was he told me it was siliconed and sealed and no visible leaks. So we had a brick layer come in and inspect bricks, he said they where bad but not horrible but were only gonna get worse.
We where quoted $500-$600 to remove chimney, but decided to get a second opinion from another roofer.
After a roofer my wife was referred to came and inspected it, and said the flashing was done properly and was directing water towards chimney, and wasn't sealed very good at base, he could see where they siliconed it heavily.
So $300 dollars later, he reflashed it and pulled shingles and resealed at base of chimney.
That was done in January and hasn't leaked one drop since.
Basically I'm not here to bash Spring Valley, but we were blown off on several occasions and they were very unprofessional to us on the matter.
All we wanted was a sealed chimney, which we ended up having to go elsewhere to get done. Overall the roof was good but the part with chimney left a bad taste in our mouth, so In our case we would recommend somebody other than Spring Valley."

FAQs for metal roofing repair projects in Rolfe, IA

Maintaining your soffit is essential. You must inspect it twice yearly to catch any clear signs of deterioration. Look for cracks, mold, rotted wood, sagging sections, chipped paint, or missing boards. If these issues are detected, contact a professional immediately to repair or replace the damaged soffit and protect your home’s structural integrity.

To maintain your fascia boards and soffits, inspect them regularly to protect your roof and home's structure. Clean your gutters to remove debris and prevent moisture buildup. Repaint any damaged sections to keep moisture at bay. Upgrading drip edges and vents improves airflow and dispels moisture efficiently, helping you avoid severe damage and costly repairs.

While installing a new soffit over an existing soffit isn't common, it may be necessary in some older homes. If removing the original soffit could damage delicate structures, a professional might recommend installing the new soffit without complete removal. Always consult a qualified professional to assess the condition and ensure this method is safe and effective.

When hiring someone for soffit and fascia repair, choose a specialist with proven roofing and gutter systems expertise. A knowledgeable contractor will thoroughly inspect your home and provide a straightforward repair or replacement plan. Check online reviews and ask for references to ensure you receive high-quality service that delivers lasting results and strong protection for your home.
