Your realtor will try to direct you elsewhere but that is because he goes through every part of the home, dissects what is going on, and then tells you what is right or wrong, why that is important, and what the future maintenance schedule & costs will be. You will be at the house for 4-6 hours, yes it takes a long time and its not for everyone, but youll feel much more comfortable knowing what it is you are buying.
