"May, 2021. I would highly recommend Barlow Concrete. I am writing this review on my own accord; they don't know I'm posting this. After interviewing 4 contractors, I chose Barlow to make a 22"x 10' patio, front walkway, and driveway border to the property line. They gave me a very competitive price. I chose them because I felt the most comfortable with the project manager, Andrew. Andrew also gave me a construction date that was sooner than later - within 7 business days - and were quite flexible with me, as I had to work through an HOA. The crew was outstanding. Quick, efficient, and left a very remarkable product - including a solution to the driveway edging - which was to build in a curb. They taped everything off and cleaned up the area very well. This company cares. In the early evening, Andrew came by to check the work and my satisfaction with it. That rarely happens nowadays. I am tremendously pleased."

"They came and demolished steps day 1 and began to build the framework.  The second day was more of building of the framework for the new steps, putting in fillers and pouring of the concrete.  They worked the second day from 8am till 7p.  The guys were very professional, explained all the different steps that needed to be done and the timeframe it would take.  I would use them again in a second. <br />"

"The estimator, Dennis accommodated my scheduling requests, and changes in the contract, he was there as well, when the resurfacing started. My driveway needed a specific piece of machinery; so they used their subcontractor, which was excellent too. F&M came back 3 days later, backfilled, mulch, and seeded the bare spots, then a rep came by to check on the finished project. I love the look of my driveway now and would recommend F&M to friends and family!"

"My driveway had deterioration but was serviceable. It had been coated with different agents in the past 20+ years. Tri State explained the effects of these agents and how my driveway would look after their application due to these previous applications. The driveway had developed wear cracks and was in need of a thick seal-coat to renew appearance and stop aging wear and tear. Where previous attempts at repair had resulted in enlarged cracks and one pothole, Tri State took the time to explain the the most cost effective approach and let me decide how I wanted to proceed. I elected to follow Tri State's approach and their application of seal-coat was supplemented by crack patching compound that blended with the seal-coat resulting in a smooth, integrated finish. Given the situation, I feel it was the best outcome achievable without cutting up or putting down new asphalt. I was also impressed with the skill the contractor demonstrated when using <em>quality equipment</em>  that put the coat on a in smooth, continuous manner that restored the driveways appearance. Using a roller near the garage door was a a pro touch. Will definitely use again. A very professional job at a reasonable price. The agent arrived early and completed the job promptly. Highly recommended. <br />"

"If I could give an A+ rating in all above categories, I would do so. Our rough, ugly unfinished lower level laundry area was transformed into an inviting, functional space and, at the same time, our 1970's bathroom was remodeled and updated with new fixtures, a recessed medicine cabinet, lighting and tile flooring. The owner, Brian was great to work with. He not only designed these projects to accommodate my specific needs and wants, but also had the vision and design skills to make suggestions that maximized the storage and layout to fully utilize every inch of available space. He added a storage alcove and pegboard wall for cleaning and ironing supplies, built a closet to hide the heating unit, and designed and installed a storage wall of upper and lower wood cabinets with a countertop and clothes hanging rod. We are completely satisfied with the quality of the finished work in both areas and appreciated Brian's neatness and respect for our home. He used protective cloths over our floors, and cleaned up construction dust and debris daily. I never expected to enjoy the entire design and renovation process, but I did. Wenkat's owner was reliable, organized and made optimal use of time so the project was completed on time. We will enjoy these renovations for years to come."

"I hired Barry after doing extensive research, first online through Angies List, and then by meeting each of the selected contractors at home. He was not the cheapest one, he was not the most expensive one either, but boy oh boy am I glad we chose him. Besides A+ Remodeling who did our deck, I have never had the pleasure to work with contractors with the same level of work ethic and professionalism. Barry was on the job every day with his crew. They all knew exactly what they were doing, and as a side note, I could understand each and every one of them, which was refreshing.  <br /> They cleaned up the work site, my driveway, and any dirt that ended up on the street as a consequence of their work every single day before they left. They answered all my questions patiently. They were punctual and polite.  <br /> It took 4 days from start to finish. They did not rush the job at any point. They did not cut any corners. They actually went the extra mile whenever possible to make it look as good as it possibly could.  <br /> Barry left us with extra sand, and 6 extra pavers of each size. He also left us with a gorgeous patio and doubled the curb appeal of my house from the street with those edges on each side of my driveway. <br /> 1/3 of the payment was done at the contract signing, the rest was paid off after completion of the work.
