Long story about my incredible experience so far below: Our roof and siding were older, losing grit and fading, and we had lost some shingles in a storm. After having another company out that was okay/average, I did some research and read a ton of reviews. Home Genius Exteriors really stood out from the rest, so we decided to setup an appointment. Our Home Remodeling Expert was named John and he was the best! He did a complete and thorough inspection of our home inside and out (including using a drone). He even went up into our attic mid-summer to see what was going on under the roof. He then took us though all of the photos and videos and explained what was happening. He also listened to what we were hoping to improve. He provided multiple options and recommendations and answered all of our questions and concerns. Next thing I knew we were creating models of our actual home and toggling between different colors, styles, materials, etc. John was extremely patient as it took a while for us to get it dialed in just right. He wrote up our project, helped to find some discounts and areas we could save money to stay within our budget without compromising the end result we were now in love with. We decided to get a roof, siding, windows, patio door, and gutter replacement to completely makeover and modernize our home. The next day we were contacted by our Home Genius project coordinators Tiffany and Beth to schedule our roof install and to have a technician out to remeasure and confirm our windows/patio door order. I figured it would be a while to get on the schedule...They blew me away. Measurement appointment tomorrow and roof install the next day! Our measurement technician was named Frank and he arrived on time, took off his shoes without being asked (love that), and his attention to detail was impeccable. He even went as far as to reconfirm our order and to walk us through what to expect with the windows and patio door install. That afternoon Brandon, our Home Genius Project Manager for the roof install, called to introduce himself and provide a detailed timeline for the day of the install and to see if we had any questions. He also informed us when the dumpster and materials would arrive that evening. The next morning Brandon and the roofing installation crew showed up at 7:00 and began prepping our home, including hanging tarps from the roof to protect our landscaping and even moving all of our deck & patio furniture out into the yard for protection. Then the work really started - the crew was incredibly fast and efficient! They had all of the old roof off in less than 3hrs. By lunch they were done laying the new underlayment and starting to put on shingles. They worked non-stop. The roof was finished by 8:00 and what I really appreciate, is they spent almost an hour cleaning up the jobsite and even using magnets to make sure no nails were left behind in the grass or landscaping. Brandon was terrific throughout the project. He provided detailed explanations of what was happening, provided updates on timing and progress, answered all of our questions, and made sure that the installation was perfect. He even came by the next day to do a second final walkthrough to make sure nothing was missed since it was getting dark the night before. Roof looks amazing and we could not be happier! Can not wait for the next stages of our home transformation!"

"I would recommend this company to friends. They were definitely the most comprehensive roof system of the companies we vetted. Some promises were made by the salesperson that weren't kept by the installation team - arrival time of work crew (said 7:30-8, was actually after 9), time needed to complete work (said one day, they had to come back a second day). There was snow on the ground on installation day, so a thorough cleanup couldn't be performed immediately, which I understood. I was told someone would be out again as soon as the snow melted. However, it was over 3 weeks later, and the snow had been melted for 2. So we had a yard full of nails and asphalt shingle debris for 3.5 weeks - not great for tires or dog paws. Some railing of our porch was damaged, but the clean up person fixed it while here and they are going to reimburse us for two damaged solar lights. Honestly, the roof is great, it was everything else that nudged them down."

Look no further Shelby construction, who started doing a project for my house Roof windows and gutters cared enough before the project started to ensure me that the size mess of the four layer tear off along with cedar shake, which would than end up my roof needing a full new roof decking. This type of tear off would leave a portion of the roof ending up on the interior side of the attic over the old insulation. Needless to say with a phone call & clear, and honest explanation. My attic now is above and beyond the state code for good our value which is brought to my tension for heating and cooling. The very next day I felt the difference. I’m glad I did it. "The contracted the work off to a third party. Jon took longer than expected. The windows was installed pretty good from the looks. Communication could have been better with knowing the job will take longer and what types of trims I wanted for the windows. As the contractor that was hired for this job by this company. Did a good job with putting up decent trim. As for the new windows they look great. I purchased the myself and hired sentri homes to install them. I will need to have a my siding on my house redone to be closer to the new windows so the gaps are not so obvious. That was not expected at first. But from old storm windows and not knowing how they were put in originally. There was some unknown things that was learned from the job being completed. I will have the siding of the house slightly done to match really good for what I wanted later on. My only concern is better communication with sentri homes. Overall they were great when I did talk to them."

"The whole experience was very positive. Wes assisted us in understanding the options and steps needed to select and install windows. He was in frequent contact with us prior to the installation to answer any questions that we might have and to keep us informed of the progress of the company constructing the windows. When it was installation day, Wes called us to confirm his arrival time and showed up on time to start the work. It was very obvious from the start that Wes and his helper were experienced and could adjust to any unexpected issues. The work came out better than expected! The windows look great and the care and workmanship Wes and his helper put into the job was obvious. The windows were installed plumb and square and tightly sealed. All discarded material was picked up and both bedrooms were vacuumed. No drafts anymore! When the budget allows, we plan to contact and use Wes' services again for some additional window replacements and for siding for the house.
