"I couldn't be more satisfied with the work Doherty Slate Roofing did on our slate roof. Everything--from initial and on-going communication via Liz, to price, to the quality of the work itself, to the friendliness of the workers on site--was excellent! Jason even agreed to come a little outside of their normal service area to respond to my request for a careful inspection and minor repairs where slate tiles were either missing or slightly out of place. And after the inspection and repairs were done, he provided a written report with photos on the condition of our roof (which is excellent), and what we will need to do in the future to maintain its good condition. I'm very pleased that I've found a slate roof specialist that I know I can trust and count on in the future."

"The Willard Company was very efficient with scheduling a visit to come give an estimate, sending the estimate, and scheduling the work to be done. The team came and replaced the gutter around the third floor balcony in one day. The price was just a little over the estimate because they replaced old wood behind the gutter which was a very good thing. I will definitely hire them again and recommend them."

"Back in December, during the first major storm of the season, I woke in the middle of the night to the sound of water dripping inside my wall. The next morning, I contacted several companies and left messages, worried it might take weeks for someone to even assess the damage. After receiving no callbacks the following day, I reached out to The Roofing Company and got a return call almost immediately. I explained the situation to Dylan, who quickly identified the likely issue over the phone, provided a clear price range for the repair, and came out the same day. Despite the significant snow on the roof, he had no trouble accessing it, locating the leak's source, and completing a temporary repair to get me safely through the winter. The issue turned out to be a severely deteriorated chimney. Water had been seeping in through damaged pointing and flashing, which had begun compromising the wood beneath the shingles. Since my furnace had already been removed, Dylan recommended removing t"

"I had an excellent experience with RB Farina's work replacing old wooden gutters and old wooden fascia and soffits with new aluminum gutters and PVC soffit, fascia, and molding on my small house. I must have caught things at a good time, in late winter, because it was just 8 days between my posting my job description on Angies List, and the dumpster leaving my driveway after the work was completed. The original bid was completed at the original price, with some extras (significant touchup painting, and a quick repair on the 2nd story shutter of my neighbor who was kind enough to let us use her yard for ladders) done with no upcharge. I did not seek multiple bids so I cannot say whether the price was high or low; I counted on the fact that the bidder could expect competition. Weather was good for working and we had no ugly surprises from my very old house, so the work went pretty smoothly. I had the pleasant experience of finding that for each of the materials and methods that I either knew about or researched, in every case the Farina team was using top quality. They are good about communication: calls to the office, or by cellphone to the estimator, always were answered live or resulted in callback in a few minutes. The onsite crew was polite, responsive, and very professional. (They also looked like they were enjoying their work, which is always a good sign). The office was very proactive: the written bid arrived quickly, and every check I wrote resulted in an emailed invoice/receipt within a couple hours. For this they are using a platform called HouseCallPro, which automates the workflow considerably. (Why shouldn't buying this kind of services get as good a workflow and email trail as, say, ordering a toaster on the Internet?) . I worked hard to make the jobsite easy to work in (moved stuff away from the house, took down my window screens before they came, ran a wire out the window to provide 20amp electric power, provided a map of where the electricity and water are on outside of house, provided outside access to a bathroom), and the crew was appreciative. Day 1 was demolition, Day 2 was carpentry, Day 3 and 4 were gutter hanging, sealing, and painting. Once they got the gutters up and sealed, they ran the hose into the gutter to check for leaks and flow before they did their final cleanup and left. After watching how they did this work and what materials they used, I have pretty high confidence that their work will last a long time,. I plan to sign up for their annual gutter/roof/chimney maintenance program so that my gutters get cleaned and somebody I trust looks at my roof."

"Excellent! Kevin was very responsive and came by just a few days after I had requested an on line quote. He gave me a proposal with the full price and explained everything and there was no sales pressure at all. A week later he came by again and we signed the proposal and gave him a deposit. He had shingle samples and again explained the process and answered all questions. A week later a crew was at our house right at 7:00 AM and were stripping the roof by 7:30 AM, after covering the bushes and hanging down tarps from the roof to protect the house. They were all done by 4:30 - cape style house and two car garage. The crew did a great job, the roof looks great and everything was cleaned up. Kevin came by and did his visual examination and to make sure everything was OK. Great Job!"

"I recently hired All For U Roofing and Masonry to repair my fieldstone foundation and waterproof the exterior, and I?m extremely pleased with the results. From the start, the team was professional, knowledgeable, and easy to communicate with. They took the time to explain the condition of the foundation and clearly outlined the work that needed to be done. It gave me a lot of confidence knowing I was dealing with experienced contractors who understood exactly how to handle fieldstone repairs properly. The quality of the workmanship was excellent. They carefully repaired the damaged sections of the foundation and ensured everything was structurally sound before applying a full waterproofing system to the exterior. The attention to detail really stood out, and you can tell they take pride in their work. They kept the job site clean, stayed on schedule, and were respectful of my property throughout the entire process. Since the work was completed, I?ve had peace of mind knowing the fo"

"They did an awesome job! The roof looks GREAT! Plus the people are very professional and friendly. There will be no other company doing my projects but BBS General Construction Inc. from now on!"

"The attention to the customer, the explanation of what the work involves and the work plan, and the response to customer followup questions, is excellent. I cannot rate the work quality, since I know nothing about assessing roofing repairs, which also impacts any judgment about value for money as related to quality. But, this company is *very* expensive as compared to others in competition. Providers who charge a lot always claim it is due to superior quality, that is, the quality justifies the price, but laypeople cannot tell if that is accurate and justified or not. For us, this company was too expensive to hire for the remaining work."

"I had a jug of the recommended product, which Mr. Dexter used to spray the entire roof--not just the bad sections. He expertly corrected a downspout position to direct rain into main gutter. Two gutter covers were replaced with white-painted, seasoned wood, which were cut to the proper shapes. A deck board was fastened securely. Mr. Dexter plans to return to inspect his roof work. If additional roof treatment is needed, there will be no additional cost for me. [I had contacted 2 other roofing companies, which were recommended by Angie's List. One company did not respond. A 2d company gave a $930 estimate, which did NOT include spraying the roof for moss/algae.]"

"I am very pleased with the roof replacement. The workers were very thorough, neat, efficient, and professional. During the project they noticed a lot of rotted wood and were able to repair that as well. From the entire process - initial meeting; sales; work performed; and cleanup; I have nothing negative to say. Outstanding work."
