"Saturday morning our dryer lost all its heat. So I posted the job on Angi's list that same morning, figuring we wouldn't get anybody till Monday at the earliest. Five minutes after posting the job, I get a call from Rick from City Appliance Repairs saying he could come out in the afternoon to work on the dryer. He shows up around 5 p.m. and in about 25 minutes our dryer was working like the day we bought it. VERY reasonable charge, with NO upcharge for a weekend visit. I recommend Rick to everybody."

"The technician was polite and we have to assume the work was done right. The call was described was $165 for a cleaning and inspection with other charges for anything else they see. Seemed reasonable until the technician indicated he would only clean the vent, not the dryer, and wanted more money for a new dryer hose and another inspection. $500 - half the cost of a new dryer. Didn't go the whole route... Not saying it was a scam but they are not cheap and beware the upselling - not happy...."
