"My lawn was a disaster. Erosion had killed off most of the grass and most of the yard turned to mud whenever it rained or snowed. Troy proposed a plan to improve drainage by running drain pipes from all of the downspouts, and then adding top soil and sod. Afterward, I followed his watering instructions to a tee, and the yard is now absolutely beautiful, and we don't have rivers flowing through the yard when it rains, either. "Steve Norfolk and his crew dug down to the footing and applied the waterproof material a section at a time.  The original plan was to dig the entire area first and then apply the waterproof material all at the same time.  However daily torrential rains turned the area into a sea of mud, so he decided to do it a section at a time to minimize problems associated with the rain.  He had to break up a concrete slab (porch) for 1/2 the front, and approximately 25 feet of driveway next to the house.  Progress was slow due to the rain and mud, but Steve steadfastly pursued the completion of the job despite the setbacks.  Although justifiably discouraged by the rain and lack of progress, he exhibited a positive "can do" attitude and kept at it.  The finished product was professionally done.  Backfill and all concrete were properly completed, and grass seed applied.  Steve is a conscientious professional who knows his business and can be relied upon to do the work he says he will accomplish.  I would use him again in a heartbeat.

"I was blown away by the work performed by Falls Church Paving Company. They returned my initial call in less than 24 hrs and began our project within 2 business days. Unlike the other companies that I received quotes from, Falls Church Paving used a crew of 4 to 5 and over $100K worth of equipment to include a paving machine and a vibratory roller. FC Paving removed and hauled away my existing 20 yr old driveway, installed 21A stone gravel base and widened the right and left sides of my driveway using 3" of asphalt. I was impressed with their precision and workmanship - especially after speaking with several contractors who were going to lay asphalt on top of my existing driveway and only hand stamp - no paving machine or roller - at a higher cost no less! Falls Church Paving even let me purchase PVC piping for my invisible fence at the end of my driveway and they didnt charge me extra to bury, install and reconnect it! "Not as planned since the shower replacement faucet was so corroded that Wayne could not remove the valve. He ended up opening up the wall to replace the piece containing the valve. He also checked the water pressure and adjusted it. He did not charge us for it. He also made a minor adjustment on the outside faucet without charge. Overall, Wayne was courteous and explained/showed me what he was doing. I would recommend this company to anyone requiring plumbing/sewer repairs."

"They gave us an estimate on 03/22 and we agreed on 04/04.  They started work on 04/11, with the removal of the existing brick patio and the flower garden,  They poured a concrete base, bringing both these areas to the same height as the sidewalk.  They then built a dry-stack stone enclosure on the front and side of our porch, and installed the square cut flagstone cap on the entire area.  Finally, they built an area of concrete, about four inches wide, to transition from the driveway to the new flagstone area.  This was done in about four days of work, including one day when they had to build a tent-like structure over the work site to shield them from the rain,  The entire crew was courteous, neat, and professional.  We would recommend their service to anyone."
