Hello my name is Aj I live in the Raleigh area but are more than willing to go the distance for a job.. my Dad actually had me working a warehouse job when I was 15 so I’m great with furniture assembly, moving appliances, fixing appliances like an oven or a washer and dryer machine. "Justin came and looked at our dryer. He told us it needed a belt and would order the parts. The parts took two weeks to get in. He came on a Sunday afternoon to repair the dryer and instead of replacing the belt he replaced the motor. ??? OK. He's the professional. He told my husband we were set for 10 years and if there was any problem to call him. The first time I used the dryer it made a monstrous noise. The second time I used the dryer it didn't work. I contacted Justin and didn't hear back. I texted we'd be happy just to get out money back for the motor. I didn't hear back. We never heard back from him. He basically robbed us of $320.00."

FAQs for appliance (major electric appliance) installation and replacement projects in Roxboro, NC

A pro starts by setting the units in place and connecting them to the right plumbing lines, electrical circuits, and, for the dryer, a vent. If the hookups already exist, the job is quick. When they don’t, the installer must add plumbing, outlets, or a vent run, which takes more time and increases the price, especially when the laundry area is located far from existing utilities.

You’ll need the right pros for a tight stacked setup. A natural-gas plumber handles the water lines, drain, and any gas work, while an electrician installs the circuit the dryer needs. If venting or framing changes are required, hire a general contractor to patch the drywall or adjust the framing so that everything meets code and operates safely.

Permanent models need complete plumbing, electrical, and—for dryers—vent hookups. Portable units skip most of that and can run on a standard outlet with a temporary water connection. If your home already has a code-approved hookup, you just connect the new appliances. If not, hire a licensed pro to add the lines and vent so the machines run safely and efficiently.

Relocating a hookup costs between $500 and $5,000, as it may involve installing new outlets, gas lines, vents, and drain pipes. The price increases when the new location is far from existing utilities or requires additional framing and drywall work. Have licensed professionals evaluate your layout, provide a quote for the move, and handle the installation so that every component meets code and works safely.
