When they had something to check on, they got back to you in a timely manner. Their crew who did the installation arrived in the timeframe we were promised, and they were also friendly, knowledgeable and professional, and cleaned up their mess when they were done. Another reason we liked using them for our roof project is they were able to replace a faulty gutter and a broken piece of siding hanging down on the roof, precluding us from having to find someone else to do that. We will be calling American Craftsmen when we want to replace our siding and windows. They take pride in how they do things, and it’s easy to see why they have so many great reviews. "This company worked with our insurance company to replace our roof.  Our only out of pocket expense was our insurance deductible plus for the ridge vent we wanted but insurance wouldn't cover.  Their cost was better than another company we had gotten an estimate from.  All our communication was through the owner, Tom Gentry.  Tom made us felt comfortable from the beginning and we were sure they could be trusted.  We were right!  They did a great job and treated us fairly.  My only regret is that they are pretty far from Raleigh and can't help us with other household repairs we need!  If you need a company that does a great job and treats you fairly, look no further than General Repairs and Restoration!
