"Jim kept his word on appointment times and displayed a wealth of knowledge on problem resolutions.  The septic pipe repair removed the toilet backup.  The sink faucets now work without leakage.  The Jacuzzi now works very well (all jets function).  Getting hot water throughout the house.  Jim located and repaired hot water pump (no charge).

"They have been out for the electrical. They have been out for the pool. They have been out for the sump pump. Its the fee for the service call. We have used them for the last 3 years. If you have an appliance that you think needs replaced they will not replace it they will repair it to death. They are very responsive. Some of the people they send out are great, some are okay."

"I submitted a request online for Mike to contact me about well pump problems at 8:30AM 3/13/08. Within 5 minutes he returned my call and scheduled an appointment and arrived before 10:00AM. He Determined the problem and quoted a fair price and I accepted. He left my house at 10:30AM and went to get the parts required to replace my pump and tank. He returned to my house by 12:00PM and completed the work before 2:30PM. I am very satisfied with Phoenix Mechanical Contractors, Inc. and I will definitely recommend them to my friends."

FAQs for sump pump repair or replace projects in Rutledge, GA

Sump pumps last about 10 years with proper maintenance and prompt repairs. Several factors can influence your sump pump’s lifespan, such as usage, environmental conditions, and installation. Premium sump pumps with heavy-duty motors and quality components tend to last longer than lower-cost models. Pedestal sump pumps usually last longer than submersible models since they’re not constantly exposed to water.

A basement French drain is a drainage system installed in basements or around a building’s foundation to redirect water and prevent flooding. This system features a trench with a perforated pipe that catches and transports water away. These systems can crack, freeze, or clog, potentially resulting in flooding or strain on your sump pump.

You can use a sump pump in your yard to minimize pooling water and landscape damage, but it’s best used in conjunction with other drainage systems. This can include French drains, trench drains, underground downspouts, and other equipment. Proper lawn care, such as soil aeration and native plants, also aids with drainage.
