"Anticipating a possible afternoon appointment by Avi, I took my grandson out earlier in the morning to take care of errands and by 12:46 I get a phone call on my cell from Avi looking for me. I looked at my cell phone, and I told him I was expecting him and I would be there. He asked me if I was on my way home; he said he arrived 10 minutes earlier and I told him that I understood he would be there between 1 and 1:30. Good thing my son just got home because he had to assure Avi I would be home on time as Avi appeared anxious to leave again. Before getting off the phone call with Avi, I had to tell him not to go anywhere because I would be there by one (I was just at the corner store preparing to leave). So I arrive at my home before 1pm and Avi is in his truck. He comes rushing out as asks 'wheres the leak'? At that time, I mention to him I thought he was to do a roof inspection. By this time while he get his ladder positioned to access the roof, I explain to him I have a crack in the ceiling in my front room and a couple people had told me it was due to a possible leak, Avi then tells me he'll take a look at it when he's finished on the roof as this gives me a moment to bring my grandson in the house to get settled. It couldn't have been more than 3 to 4 minutes when I hear a 'Hello' at my front door and Avi lets himself in to tell me my roof is fine. I show him the crack in the ceiling and he tells me since there is no discoloration, it could not be a leak. He explains further that he sees the drywall needs repair and explains how it could be done. Avi assures me my roof is in good condition and runs through all the components of the roof structure and says its all good...that it appears the roof couldn't have been installed more than 10 years ago. I could tell he was ready to go but then I asked him why is it that my roof appears dented and sinking. At that moment, Avi slows down and takes time to explain that the roof was installed with poor ventilation and that the attic had trapped hot air without enough means to ventilate it. I asked what he could do to fix that and how it would be done. Avi explained he would have to install 'eyebrow vents' along the 50' linear ridge. I asked him how much and he said $100, I asked how what he needed to do and if it was only one that was need which he said it would take probably 5 of them. I asked if he could give me an estimate and he basically told me he was busy through November. I told him I was interested...but then I asked him if my roof needed minor repairs. He mentioned something about the chimney flashing and a couple 'tight shingles'. I asked if he could take some pictures and he said it wasn't really necessary. I understood Avi stating he would return sometime the following day to take care of that and it wouldn't take very long. I ask did I need to pay him and he said I already made the payment to Angies list and if I can make out a review. The following day I did not get a visit from Avi, or at least he never came to the door. I can view the chimney from grade but can't tell if anything was done. Before I enlisted Avi's service I reviewed the comments that were provided for viewers and mentioned to Avi I was impressed with the good reviews. When I think of the service I recieved from Avi, only one word comes to mind: VERY RUSHED"

They provided same day service, technician, Raphael, and his assistant were friendly and efficient and provided videos of the gutters pre/post cleaning. "I think it went okay. I had never had my rain gutter looked at before so what I was surprised about when they came was the deal I bought was really just to kind of do an assessment and do repair to the gutters but I actually needed to have them cleaned and that was another couple of hundred dollars. I was surprised by that only not because of them I'm sure but I didn't know what I might need. In buying gutters and thinking they are okay except when I'm seeing some leaks. So I thought that but then it turned out they were actually clogged and needed cleaning so if not clear that someone who is not experienced, you're going to need to buy more. But that was fine, I was just kind of saying that I didn't know. It had been raining and they cancelled a couple of times the appointment before they were able to show up so I wasn't really crazy about that part of that. But once they got here, they did the work and it was fine. I think they had to charge me another $250. I think the quality is one of those things you don't know because you're not up there looking at it. Once the guy got there and told me what was going on, it was fine. It was getting them there that was the problem. I wouldn't rule them out but I would go shopping."

"Valerii did a great job on my house, gave me best deal I could ever get. I had gutters stuffed with debris and leaves, on my 3 story tile roof house. He did a wonderful job on all of them, in addition he gave me a great deal on gutter guards that he installed the same day. I was impressed how well he was performed. Also he put some sealant on a few tiles that were broken on the roof for no cost, I think that was nice of him that he checked my tiles and fixed them before the rain. I will definitely do business with him in the future."

"I had talked to several roofers but James was by far the best salesman. I am a single teacher and he did not try to sell me a roof out of my reach.  He brought a computer and as he was explaining what was to be done, he showed me examples on the computer. For someone with no knowledge of roofing this really helped to know what was to be done.  Their bid was detailed with all that was to be done. I got bids written on a piece of paper with no details. This is what sold me to go with this company.  They were not the least expensive nor were they the most expensive.  But they were very professional.
When it was time to put on the rood my mother was in surgery and very ill.  Nick the foreman worked around my time constraints. The old roof was wood shake and had to be removed. The crew that came in were quick and cleaned up very well after they were done. Once they started to put on the new roof I was amazed how quickly they worked and really seemed to take pride in what they were doing.  I was also part of a halfplex and the other owner could not do his side at the time.  I told them how important it was that they made sure the roofs wouldn't leak where the two roofs came
together.  The roof is beautiful.
Also, they did the back gutters as the front had been done recently.  There was a difference between what mine looked like and what they had ordered. Truthfully I would have probably never noticed but Nick did and made the gutter installer do some metal work to make them look the same.  That showed me how professional this roofing company is. I would definitely recommend Brazil Roofing and Construction.
