"Let me start by saying that I went thru three other companies and thier prices were really high up there. I was ready to give up on a dream that I have had for years . My children are all moved out and I thought I can finally reface my kitchen . … but the quotes I was getting were depressing …. But my son suggested Angie’s List 😀… I have never tried Angie’s List before so I thought what the heck … well to my surprise I called three companies out of Angie’s List and one of them was Wiseman Home Improvements . I am so glad I chose them to work on my kitchen . Phil came gave and estimate but I had seen two before him … needless to say … Phil sent me an estimate and it was right within my budget …. I was so happy we started April 1 thought at first it was an April Fools joke … but it wasn’t 😀. Phil worked with me on picking my counter and floor and back splash …. Phil is a cool dude . Than came Ryan really nice man . He coordinated the crew … he has an awesome crew … I met Cameron … Raul … Duane… Stan … and others bit can’t remember their names but they are all a nice group . Ryan makes sure everything is done correctly and drops in here and there makes sure all is going well . I have no complaints my kitchen looks beautiful… I’m so happy with the results . I would hire Wiseman Home Improvements without a hesitation . Now I hired them to do my patio door. In the near future if I decide to remodel another room in my house Wiseman will be the ones I call. "Our experience is identical to what other reviewers shared. And yes, you should run from this company as fast as you can. Do not buy what Abraham shared that the payment must be made when the inspection is passed. Check the Business and Professions code yourself, the payment only needs to be made when the job is completed. It is very COMMON that the job is not even done or poorly performed even the inspection is passed. Here are the issues that multiple families including us run into with this company:: The project was delayed for over 9 months. No one manages the job. He often employs young men from his own Jewish community. They are enthusiastic but had no prior experience. The worse part is that they don't get paid. Two of them even set up a new construction business knowing Abraham will never pay them. Subcontractors can put your house on lien also. Many reviews you see on Yelp, Google, Angi are NOT genuine. Even the references are fake with hindsight, we were given 2 references. One reference shared the exact same accent as the PM. The other reference was initially happy with their work, but then reached out to us and shared a similar horror story with them like what we experienced. You will lose a lot of $$$ on materials as the subcontractors will somehow leave a thousand dollars worth of quartz at home. Maybe they want to compensate for the money Abraham owed them? Let me tell you, reordering materials is not fun."

"They destroyed the whole pipes that caused flooding to my neighbors. The water was off and every other day we need to go out to the street to turn it on. This company denied the responsibility but later reimbursed me for the first leak repair after employee acknowledging doing partial work. This project aims to address and fix the extensive leaks. Must be completely replaced, cause of leaks appears to be from over heating of the copper as locations are at ALL connections and bends in the pipe, too much to patch.
