"I found Ralph on Angie's list and contracted him for a clogged drain. I was pleased that he responded quickly and he took care of 2 clogged shower drains. The following week, my hot water heater broke and Ralph called back five minutes after I sent him a text. He replaced it with a superior model (which cost only a little more than the cheap model that I had and he explained the features which made it superior. I later found a YouTube video which confirmed everything that he said). The warranty was better also. He came back the following day to replace two toilets which had been causing leaks in my kitchen ceiling. I'm very happy with my new water efficient toilets which flush with more force than the previous ones, and, no more leaks! While Ralph was replacing my water heater, he noted problems with the installation of my 35 year old boiler and pointed out issues that a more modern and energy efficient boiler would address. There was no hard sell, just a matter of fact recommendation that I might consider replacing it before next winter. I've been hiring contractors for the past 22 years, and I'm impressed by Ralph's knowledge, experience and professionalism. "Raymond was absolutely wonderful! He came to look at our water heater about a half hour after we spoke on the phone (on his way to another job in the same town as us). He took his time looking over everything to see what could be causing the problems, explained what the possible repair options were if we didn't want to go with the option of replacing it. We decided to just replace it, which Raymond said he was able to do that same day after he finished with the other job in town which he said would take about two and a half to three hours. "Outstanding service, start to finish. Professional, courteous, constant communication. Isha from the home office was in constant contact - phone, two email confirmations, and texts. She called to ask if the service could start a bit earlier, which was fine with me. Alex arrived promptly, put on shoe booties before entering the house (not necessary here but a nice touch). Alex was outstanding. Young fellow with many years experience, and it showed. He explained each part of the task as he went through it, and answered my many questions related to other potential work I brought up. Getting the anodes out of the water heaters - first time replaced - was a bear. He explained he had to get another socket wrench to loosen the anodes - the ones he had did not fit properly. No charge for that time, which though I expected, has not always been the case in my past experiences. Anodes were locked in tight, and took a while to loosen. Doing one water heater at a time, they finally came out, encased in calcium deposit. He then screwed in the replacement anodes and locked them in. Alex completed all the work, put everything back together including the fans on top of the units, tested, and re-tested. Continuing to explain each step. He took pictures of the work for the invoice, ran me through the details again. Everything done on his tablet computer; I received an immediate email receipt. Excellent work with knowledge behind it. I have an external faucet which needs repair, and may be looking for a whole-house water softener. When time comes to replace the water heaters, Advanced Pro will be at top of my list."
