"They were recommended by the plumber that found a leak in the toilet. They came out and removed the wet drywall and flooring and left 4 fans for 4 days. When they left a large hole in the floor remained along with the open sewer line. They said they would send a person out in a couple of days to go over the flooring. They didn't. I called to get the whole in my floor plunged up. It had been open for a week. They came and fixed it but left the sewer line open. It was open for two weeks with a bad smell and the fumes made us sick. I called the plumber out to see what the smell was. He said your sewer line is open and plugged it up. A total of 5 people came out and did nothing from Dry Star. Even the plumber called them to complain. To replace the floor and drywall took 2 and a half months. We used insurance on this and I had to keep telling them the insurance wasn't getting the information they said they sent. When I send a copy it was approved shortly after waiting for 3 weeks. Meanwhile they wouldn't move forward even after I said you left the sewer line open for 2 weeks making us sick. They didn't follow up and refused to do anything until I paid them. I never got an amount from to pay for about 6 weeks. I told them I received approval from insurance and let's get going. I could have sooner if they had told me an amount. After the work was finally completed. I said how are you going to compensate me for the delays and screw ups. They said they would deduct the bill for one hour of time from the plumber, I had sent a copy. I said you did nothing to speed this up and you should offer something to compensate for making us sick from the sewer gas. They refused. 10 weeks without a bathroom and allowing us to have dangerous sewer gas for over 2 weeks. Don't use this company they aren't interested in the customer even when they screw up."

FAQs for carpet installation projects in Sahuarita, AZ

Carpet rolls come in standard widths of 12 and 15 feet. Less commonly, you might find a roll 13.5 feet wide. There are no standard roll lengths, but they’ll have enough to cover almost any home.

You’ll need equal amounts of carpet padding and carpet. Carpet padding costs $200 to $500 for the average room. However, the padding is trimmed a couple of inches away from the wall on all sides to make room for tack strips. Most residential installs have padding, and professionals include this in their bids.

Often, the best carpet for basements doesn’t include a pad. You’ll find this mainly in humid areas or places with a high-water table.

One linear foot of carpet or other material is simply one foot measured in a straight line. You typically aren’t going to measure carpet this way. It’s quoted in square feet or square yards.

There are nine square feet in one square yard of carpet.

The amount of carpet you need to cover two rooms varies depending on the room size and configuration. Measure the floor space. Multiply width times length. Do this for both rooms and add the numbers together.

You’ll need between 80 and 110 square feet for 13 stairs. For unique stairwells, you might need more.

Measure indoor/outdoor carpet like you would any other area, taking the width times the length. For patios, make sure to add a couple extra inches to wrap around the edges. Indoor-outdoor carpets cost an average of $3.50 per square foot.

You’ll need enough carpet to cover the entire area of damage to avoid seams. For example, if you have a 4-inch tear in the middle of a hallway, you’ll want enough carpet to stretch from door to door or the next available seam. Depending on the type of carpet you have, you might be able to get a professional to do an invisible seam repair.

One square foot of carpet is one foot long by one foot wide.
