"Existing plants (azaleas and iris) were moved and replaced without a problem. Carefully worked around old wisteria vine without issues. Wall was installed exactly as expected. Encountered unexpected problems with plugged existing drainage pipes which needed to be replaced. This was done at a minimum of extra cost and the replaced drainage system was better than the one originally in place. This understandably delayed completion of project by about a week which was otherwise on time and within budget. Staff was pleasant, knowledgeable and accessible. I definitely would use them again."

"Lazaro and his crew members, Fidel, William, and Issac, transformed our back yard from being a dirty and unpleasant hellscape where my wife and I never spent any time to being a beautiful and clean space where we can host parties, cookouts, and relax. The crew was extremely professional, organized, thoughtful, experienced, efficient, and communicative throughout the course of the project. I was quite impressed with their design and planning skills, extensive experience, and passion for their work. My wife and I own a small row house with a small back yard, which presented unique challenges to the crew: no back yard access except through neighbors’ properties. The crew handled this challenge well by being communicative and friendly with my neighbors and always cleaning up the space at the end of each working day. They always ensured that the fencing and hardscaping looked good from both sides of the property line, so that my neighbors were also happy! Another challenge was that an adjacent property is about 3 feet above grade and not pleasant to look at from our yard. Lazaro’s planning and vision for a beige brick half-wall, topped with wooden lattice flower boxes was a great finishing touch that provided a beautiful transition between the red brick paver patio and the elevated wooden fence to block the view of the adjacent property. The crew carefully planned their work from the beginning, so that there were no surprises at the end as the finishing touches were put on and the fence was erected. My wife and I are also confident that the money we spent on this work will be a great investment—not only for enjoying our new home, but also in the resale value some day in the future. "We were looking into redoing our old deck and got a quote which we thought was reasonable for our large deck. Then for another estimate, we called 7th State Builders. They explained that for the same cost, we could get a paver stone patio (which in the long run is far less maintenance). The owner worked with our budget and the gentlemen who laid our pavers were extremely professional and worked within our wishes. They removed the deck and finished the patio in about a week. Awesome job! After a week or so, it had rain for a period of time and we noticed that a small dip in the patio was collecting a puddle. After a call, they came out and fixed the problem. We would definitely recommend this company for a patio."

"Jesse and Tillerman Gardens are top notch! We have worked with them for years. With our first home they widened our driveway, added a retaining wall, leveled our backyard and made a beautiful stone wall around our garden. Our house sold in 2 days and all the feedback was about our “beautiful curb appeal”. I was most sad to leave these features of our home, I literally did not want to move and leave my stone wall! It was a deal with my husband to call Jesse immediately and get a new stone wall around my garden. In our new home Tillerman gardens has created a new curved stone pathway, MY stone wall around the garden, leveled the backyard, created a patio around our shed, added a split rail fence, not to mention the landscaping! "The work was done well overall, but I had to remove some large concrete pieces from the sloping areas around the edges. The original diggers had buried these close to the surface, which would have made landscaping impossible. This was not Jerry's fault, as they did not follow his instructions to break these up, and add them to the substrate rock under the patio base. There were delays due to the very bad weather, out of his control, but the re-scheduling needs could have been communicated better, in my opinion."

"Was very happy with the work done by Kurt and his team. Our house is located on a large hill so this was not an easy job to remove the dirt and debris for existing retaining wall down two flights of stairs via wheelbarrow, and bringing the bricks for the new retaining wall up the hill. They were polite and professional, and left the area looking great and clean. They tore up the front yard a little bit where the wheelbarrow down the hill in the front yard, but it was probably unavoidable and they made sure to plant some new grass in those areas and it is growing back quickly. We are very happy with our new retaining wall. Would certainly use Kurt and his team again."

Our front steps were unevenly spaced with an almost 10" drop to the first step.  Mr. Langhorne explained how they would bring the steps into code and keep them from separating from the porch again.  His sons arrived on time and completed the job in one day as promised.  Something that was not planned for, but turned out to be unavoidable was the fact that the railing needed to be removed, as the angle was now wrong.  Not to worry a call was made to a guy who could assist with the iron work to replace the hand rail.

Caution tape was posted around the steps so no one would walk in wet concrete.  They not only cleaned up our yard but also replaced the grass divots removed before the steps were poured.  We are very satisfied with the work and will definitely use Langhorne Concrete services in the future.

"I hired East Coast Landscape Design to take care of a sump pump drainage problem under my deck, as well as install a stone patio under the deck. They did a wonderful job with both. Mark designed the project and answered any questions I had. He provided all the necessary information and design plans to obtain approval for the project from my homeowners association. Katie was very helpful with scheduling, billing and answering gereral questions. Roberto and crew did a great job installing the patio and cleaning up afterwards. The patio looks great and the drainage issue has been taken care of. I wold definitely hire them again and/or recommend them to a friend."

"Fernando came by to provide an estimate within a day of the request and completed the job within a week. The work they did removing and replacing the cracked mortar joints was excellent. They completely removed the mortar between the bricks as opposed to just cutting a small area of the mortar out before replacing it with new mortar. The new mortar is much whiter than the old mortar but hopefully the repair will be less noticeable after cleaning the old mortar and exposure of the new mortar to the elements."
